When buhari resumed the economy was in crisis already . oil in the global market has already dropped to less than 30 dollars. The policies that buhari introduced did not help matters either however well intentioned it may be. At a time they have to fund some states and agencies to meet their obligations.. I really do not support some of emefieles policies. But he is not blamable in all.

and when oil sold above 70 dollars,the dollar instead coming down kept on appreciating against the naira.you people really like to deceive the gullible.

Once again it is clear that the problem is the lack of independent and credible institutions not the individuals that railroad them.

Nigerians can see where the fight is and what the real issues are. That is when the citizens collectively insist that institutions of government work to check the activities of one another then we will not be constantly playing catch up with criminality.

But when we constantly elevate and idol worship individuals without the courage to call them out when they undermine institutions this is the result.

The CBN governor did what he did because he and his principal were unilaterally supported despite their serial disregard of the rule of law.

That is because Jonathan did far less to undermine the rule of law. Jonathan's government may have been massively corrupt but one thing he was far better in was that he seldom openly and actively undermined the rule of law.

And the foundations of that started with the fact that he was not idolized. So the people did not have any reason to excuse his excesses.

But whatever Buhari did was wholeheartedly supported up till the point of the elections where the hypocrisy in a section of the county began to emerge which is resulting in all these.

We cannot afford to have a country where people only react after the fact. Nigerians must be honest and bold to fight for what is right from the day they elect their leaders till their tenure is over.

But when they clearly see wrongdoing but keep quiet because of sentimental support only to cry out when the damage is done the deed will be done.

The question you and I should be asking is where were you and I when Mr Emefiele started his journey of ignominy.
