Please I need answers to this. I hardly hear people talk about php lately. The language I hear people talk mostly are Javascript, react.js and node.js

PHP is still relevant.

PHP is still relevant, but mostly for Laravel or platform projects like WordPress, it will be hard finding a PHP job, but not hard finding a platform job that requires PHP

Nope PHP is still very much relevant but gone are those days you write just vanilla PHP code when building a website now you have to use a framework eg(laravel,symfony,you) but laravel is more popular and again if you want to go into freelancing hmmm PHP got u covered

Op, to answer your question, yes, php is truly withering in popularity. Some of us are resuscitating and reviving with cpr and ice water. Please read the introduction part of this article. There, the author discuses various helpful tools that put php on par with the more trendy languages. It's kind of long but do give it a shot

Lol PHP/Laravel is now a Full-fledged Arsenal for Software Development... Nobody is talking about it cause time has passed when people Glorify and talk about programming like it's a one field for Super Heroes... Programming has turned out to be a a creative slill just like every other creative skill it mustn't be fantasized.


Learn any Programming Language/Framework and start making money from it and stop waiting for anybody to validate the language... you're not a super hero
