I know about these two.. looking out for more options that gives time for form A

E be like most of the schools now ask for first semester tuition deposit

I made a list in a post already. Click here to look at the list of schools I partner with, perhaps you may find one that bet suits your interest.
https://www.nairaland.com/7724995/20-schools-canada-tuition-tuition. Click on the link to see a list of 20 schools with their tuition deposit as well as their gross tuition.

I would however advise you to stay away from Conestoga college for now because their tuition deposit is not stable. You can pay as much as $9,000 CAD after paying the initial $1,500 CAD BEFORE leaving here.

Hi, do you know the reason why it couldn’t be verified online?

Lagos is asking for 200k and I got for 120k from another state. That’s the reason why I want to get the TCC.
I never worked, so I don’t have PAYE records and apparently that doesn’t matter to them, I must make payment to get TCC and 200k is just too much for me.

tenderjunkie:

I think this will depend on the particular bank.

I was at a bank today where I submitted my form A application.

They demanded for the original copy of the TCC and asked a staff to go and verify it at the tax office since it couldn't be done online.

If that's the case for your bank, how will Ogun state verify Lagos state tax records?

You can try using a bank branch in Lagos and see how it goes.

If it doesn't work then you can switch to the state that gave the tax clearance

School ranking doesn't matter in Canada so long it's a Canadian school. In both schools, you will earn Ontario College Certificate/Diploma/Grad. Cert.

Look for the location instead, choose the one with more population for increased chances of getting a job.

Good evening all,

I have been a follower here and I must confess, the information here are really helpful and insightful.

Please I need some advice;
My wife studied Criminology and Security Studies (2.1), she graduated 2018 n served till 2019

Since then no job, so she took on a teaching job.

My concern is, can she still do a criminology/criminology related course in Canada or it has to be something related to teaching (she's not keen on that)

2. The 5 year gap (would be 6 next year as we are targeting Sept 2024) should we be concerned?

3. I would love to go with her as a dependent, if I can get a letter of 24 months from my office will it improve our chances as I would like to use it as home tie alongside other information; if yes, will I still be able to work Canada knowing that I'm on leave here in Nigeria.

4. Will a 10 - 12m POF be okay for both of us (this does not cover tuition n flight)

Thanks.

1. Yes and No.
To increase the chances of visa approval, it is better to stick to career progression which is Teaching.
When she gets to Canada, she can change course or opt in for a second program in Criminology etc.

2. No concern. This is why you will emphasize on career progression.

3. It will boost your home tie. Spousal Open Work Permit is issued to the spouses of international student; holders can work for any employer. You will be able to work.

4. Supposing that tuition fee and miscellaneous expenses have been taken care of, you need just $4,000 additional POF. If you have children, $3,000 for each children is needed. Please use the CBN rate of $1/345 to calculate to get the applicable value. All in all, 10m - 12m will be enough if tuition fee and miscellaneous expenses are not included.

I hope the above answers your questions accurately.

Hi guys, so I’m a software engineer and currently work remotely with a company based in Spain and I want to move to Canada as a student and I’ll still continue my job.

So far I have saved money for the tuition fee, living expenses and miscellaneous for the first year (around 32,000 CAD) and I will pay for the second year from my salary during the first year (3000 CAD monthly).

What are my chances? Should I wait and gather my money to be enough for the 2-year program, or should I go for a 1-year program or just apply anyway?

Whether or not you should go for a one-year or two-year program, it is all dependent on your decision.

Meanwhile, if you enroll for a one-year program, if you want it, you could enroll for another after completing the first one.

Good morning, yes it did, thank you

For now no kids.

Again would it not be strange that they would like to know why a criminology graduate is teaching nursery class and all that? No certification in education

It depends.

If you have a sponsor or an assured source of income during study, then provide the tuition and living expense for a year (with extra).

If you don't have a sponsor or an assured source of income from Nigeria while studying, then provide the tuition and living expenses for the two years (with extra)

Okay Thank you
