I don't believe it. Igbós are one way traffic. Amaechi even abandoned Jagaban inauguration to attend Otti 's. If you are Igbo ( which I doubt) you do well . Not because of Jagaban, but right politics. If either Obi or Atiku was declared winner, Yoruba would still have good representation in their government. But now, igbos have sidelined themselves in this government.

You guys are just blaming the girl for taking her life . This world sometimes could be an ugly place. She may have reached out for help but to no avail then deciding to end it. A lot of these scenarios happen everyday just that many are not reported like this. People are really going through a lot of depression . Even me right now I'm going through my own over my inability to pay for my final year project in the university I am currently. Nobody wants to help anyone , that's why one think of just resting in peace .

So saddening!
I think she was reportedly missing few weeks back because this was the same picture that was being circulated then.

What could have led to her commiting suicide?
Exam related stuff or a heartbreak?
Or maybe she was raped when she went missing and couldn't speak out so people could help her recover from the traumatic event.

The people around her are partly to be blamed sha. Maybe they don't have experience with people having depression around them and didn't know what to do. They should have informed their part adviser.

There is need for an awareness campaign against depression so that people will be able to know and recognize the signs and symptoms of a major depressive episode and take appropriate measures to avert the impending disaster.

Parents should make it easier for their children to confide in them. Let us show more understanding. Aggressive reaction to every misdemeanor results in sad tales like this one. Whatever a child does, he or she should be able to run home as their first place of refuge.

JESUS CHRIST illustrates this with the account of the lost son that we commonly title the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-22). Apostle Paul applied this parable in the case of Philemon and Onesimus (Philemon 1:10-21).

Note that I am not suggesting that her parents were harsh. It's just a general counsel to all parents. Shalom!

This life is just so useless..
That thing that gives u joy...drugs... alcohol.....sex....ur favorite food...even sleep sef will last only 4 a short while...then u go right back to life's pain
That's why I'm so passionate about antinatalism...yes u may be comfortable..then give birth to kids thinking that food and other basic necessities of life won't be their problem
But what about... depression...heart breaks.. anxiety..low self-esteem cus of their looks or height or both...etc
There's nothing good or moral about bringing innocent kids into this brutal world against their own will.. nothing at all!
No need for such a gloomy take, still. It is those moments of happiness that make it worth it. Living in those moments of happiness like when you buy a new car or you just had your first child and hoping positively that there's more of life's joyful moments in stock is what makes life worth living.
And remember, regardless of how it goes down, life goes on. Your life is not a movie and regardless of how you feel you have no right to end it
