Merrick Garland is a serious person. And so if he appointed Jack Smith, I'll assume he's a serious person as well. Unlike Bill Barr and Durham. You can already tell by the fact he filed the charges in FL instead of DC where he would have had friendlier judges and better jurors, a venue in which he could have made a case for.

Take a second and look at the charges, evidence in the indictment and the law. It's a pretty much an open and shut case. If this were anybody else but Trump, they'd be trying to settle.

You do have a point when it comes to the Judge and jurors. It only takes one Trump juror to deadlock/hang the jury. And Cannon can fux up the case and reduce or not give him any jail time and I don't believe that is something the DOJ can appeal. But a hung jury can be retried. And if Cannon does that he'll still be a felon and this is one of 3 potential serious charges he has to face.

3. The FBI claimed there was voice recording of Trump showing/sharing highly classified information with ballroom guest. And that he claimed in the conversations with this mysterious guest that he "does not have the power to declassify records anymore" and other bullcrap by the FBI. With the level of interest the FBI have on nailing Trump, and then the hatred of the Biden Crime Enterprise for him, and with the technology and resources at Garland, Wray, RINOs and FJB's disposal, would you want to take it past them that the entire "recordings" were not doctored using artificial intelligence - just to get Trump?
