This man is playing 'god' with the lives of these 2 young men and its high time we call a spade a spade. They were sacked from their jobs, without much consultation he arranged for them to be flown abroad on a scholarship just to ride on their momentary fame. Few months in he leaves them stranded in a strange land without as much as a proper housing arrangement... School fees unpaid. They cry out for help showing evidence and they are branded traitors and cursed. Who does that? Cursing other people's children Abi did anyone beg him to send them abroad? Then now he wants to bring them back to Nigeria to strand them again... The boys have now seen the handwriting on the wall that schooling is out either way and I don't know about you but most people would rather hustle abroad than in Nigeria so why the insults? That baba should rest abeg if you say you are sponsoring someone's education abroad, count the cost first and follow through. The boys could have been more tactful and respectful I'm the way they handled things but what do you expect from guys who were fired from work for indiscipline and lack of professionalism in the first place?

Hell yeah..... Do you the volunteer organizations that will be feeding and clothing these guys They will be get free food day and night.... There are places you go get thrift clothes for free..... These volunteer organizations will hook you with minimum paying jobs.... It's I laugh when peeps say how do people survive abroad 😁😁😁😁

Once your sponsor indicates he’s no more interested in the sponsorship, your days over there are numbered. Studying overseas as an international student is not easy, instead of discussing with your sponsor beforehand you went online trying to spoil his image as if he owned your families anything now you are shouting “you no wan come back”. This is not true. There is a difference between Southern Cyprus and Northern Cyprus. Northern Cyprus is where there are no opportunities as it is under the control of the Turkish government and things aren't that easy there. Southern Cyprus has better opportunities as this is the real Cyprus recognized by the EU.

In my opinion, I don't think it is right for the Pastor to curse these boys. There is no justifiable reason for cursing. We leave things like this to the hands of God. We just need to get our mindset right that it is absolutely wrong to lay a curse on individuals because of your spiritual position. We all will give an account before God someday and there is nothing like he pushed me to lay curses before God.

On the boys' part, it is wrong to have exposed the Pastor to the media on the matter but it is also understandable that they do not have any other means outside the support from the Pastor. The Boys also did wrong in a way.

In summary, 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Nigeria is not conducive to stay at all.

The pastor should just write to the embassy that his hands are off. So they don’t use their status to tarnish the image of the church.

These boys are the most useless set of entitled lazy talentless youths ever. Since una no wan come back Nigeria, stay in Northern Cyprus by force. I heard the boys failed 6 out of 7 courses they did in the university.
It is good for OPM. Of all the good youths to sponsor their education abroad, it is complete olodos who chose to be dancing instead of doing security work. Na them you go sponsor all for clout.

It clearly points out the reason for the sponsorship, it was all for PR and media show. PR sponsorships make more noise when you select to sponsor fairly popular guys. Somehow, it is backfiring on him.

Since the boys have decided not to come back to Nigeria, I hope they understand that OPM is no longer responsible for them.

I also hope that they have gotten sudden clarity on how to care for themselves considering they were unable to do so for the last six months.
