The dont have needed papers to stay if not schooling, likely have no marketable skills there for a skilled visa and if its Northern cyprus they are in, it is probably harder because it is outside the EU and they will be stuck there. The country is a den of yahoo boys though, so they may go that way.

I don't blame them though, Nigeria was probably hell for them. Even the way they look now, it's not hard to understand they never want to set foot in Nigeria

He then told them no more money that they should contact Thier family to take them back to Nigeria, like nigga what the actual fvck , people whom you carried on scholarship some people don't even have enough to eat and you want them to generate money for Cyprus flight back to Nigeria, that means the sham scholarship finished media PR already gotten.

Many of them if not all that period till this Happy boiz matter came out last week have not been going to school for 6months .

They do Yahoo Yahoo, like that girl I told you has one leg ,she is an orphan she is stucked right now in northern Cyprus frustrated

I hope they won't get distracted and end-up engaging in criminal activities to survive coz they're beginning to sound unserious. On a student visa until it lapses in July I believe. Then can hope to cross over to the Republic of Cyprus and apply for “aduro” or remain in the TRNC and apply for “aduro” with claims of possible threat to their lives from a very powerful and well connected individual in Nigeria.

Long story. They don’t “technically” issue visas because they are not a legitimate independent country. They are a pseudo-state recognized only by Türkiye. So they issue a some document that will allow you to fly to Turkey and subsequently to TRNC. It's a long drawn drama on that island that has been in place since the 1950s arising from British divide and rule. The Papa OPM cam write to the school to say they are no longer on OPM scholarship. The school would then have to get them to confirm that they will be able to continue paying their fees and be in good academic standing, otherwise they'd have to report them to the education a d foreign affairs "ministry"

I doubt if this will work. Nigerians in South Cyprus are crying to the EU. They are injecting them with some kind of vaccine and deporting. Some people have died and others are waiting for their removal days. Saw this on tiktok and the comments were something else

this is the problem with many people who are outside, they do not want to come back but yet they are not making any headway in life, they believe that all those in Nigeria are suffering, by the time they now realize their stupidity in thinking like this, all their friends they left in Nigeria would have gone far in their various careers, and settled down comfortably. now to reintegrate back into society now becomes a problem

So I lived in the Republic of Cyprus for some years. Had a nice flourishing African community of mostly Ghanaian and Nigerian students and sportsmen. The problem is that us Nigerians are too one kind. When Cyprus joined the EU, there was a huge inflow of the dregs amongst us. Completely spoilt the name of Nigeria (and Africa) in the eyes of the Greek Cypriots. So dem dey fear us. Back then we had very well placed Nigerian sportsmen playing football and handball for some of the top clubs there. Had a handful of friends that married Cypriot ladies(which was a very rare occurrence at the time). Now, Naija don carry their bad head go fxck up the island.
