LTCIn its history, this coin has already undergone two halves: one in 2015 and the other in 2019. For every block that was produced after its first debut in 2011, miners received 50 LTC as payment. In 2015, it was cut in half to 25, and in 2019, it was down to 12.5 percent. The LTC payout will only be 6.25 per block after the 2023 halving event.

History shows that Prior to the halving event, the price of Litecoin typically doubles. After the event, Litecoin might increase about 300%.

Why does this happen?
Here's the catch: When miners receive fewer rewards, they naturally release less of the coin into circulation, which naturally causes the coin's price to grow due to increased scarcity.

If you're interested in benefiting from Litecoin's price surge post-halving, then you should be buying some Litecoin right before the halving
