Hi all.

Is it possible to fill a new form after booking an appointment? I plan on rescheduling my appointment and this will definitely affect the travel dates I filled in my visa application form. How do I go about this please cry

yerilistik:

it was actually a short stay visa of 3 months through family member invitation so the most important documents :
- Attestation d'accueil provided by the family member living in France (usually gotten from the city mayor's office)
- 3 Months statement of account (sponsored by her son in Nigeria)
- insurance cover for the entire period of stay
- Flight booking to and fro

Biometrics done on 24th may
Passport processed by French embassy on the 1st june and sent back to VFS
Passport delivered on the 2nd june by UPS
3 months visa granted, multiple entry

Hope this helps wink

Did you have the money in the account for how long before going for capturing please

Be careful with agents. Many times they put together fake documents for unsuspecting victims and completely jeopardize any possible chance to get visas in future. If you must engage the help of any agency, contact registered immigration law firms.
please where can I contact immigration law firms?? A family friend wants to help me do it for free and I will pay after it comes out, now I want to try and do the visiting visa by myself as I will be the one that will be questioned at POE, so I want to have proper knowledge

It was a business account so money was going in and out eceryday. Supported by company documents showing the son as business/company owner.

Visa alert !!
Applied with my kids for 10 days single entry visa to France.
Biometrics - 8th June
Pick up mail - 15th June
1 year multiple entry visa granted to all
Documents submitted:
Flight booking
Disney hotels/park entry booking
Letter of Introduction which shows our itinerary for our 8 days trip (separate letter for each child).
Sponsorship letter for the kids
Birth cert for kids
Consent letter for the kids (signed by both parents)
Copy of parents passport data page
University ID card for my adult child, school fees receipt for the younger ones.
My employment letter, leave approval , 3 months payslip (I attached these for each child too)
3 months salary account statement with about 3.7m balance
Personal usd account statement with 4,000usd balance.
Photocopy of every visa we have ever had both on old passports.
Prior to this, we all have valid 10yrs UK visa, US and Canada visas.

In my opinion, the documents they require for such a short term visa is quite much, there should be a platform where you submit these documents electronically not printing them all out. We are a family of 5 and believe me it wasn’t easy.

on the flight ticket.. dis you already booked and paid for the ticket before you got visa?

If yes, what if you were denied? What would have been the fate of the ticket you booked

Yes I booked and paid in full. It’s a fully flexible ticket so I can cancel any day and receive full refund of the ticket.
I did the booking directly on Lufthansa so no agent involved

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Alexie89: 5:49pm On Jun 18, 2023
It's not advisable to pay for a ticket before your visa is granted... you can always use a certified travel agent and for like 2 or 3k, they can hold a booking for you.
It's quite risky.

Had the same issue when I wanted to apply,I had agents charging me 50k for appointment or walk-in, and we were 3 (2 of my kids and I, even knowing fully well that kids below 6 dont need to come for the appointment, they basically charged me 150k, smh, i ran tho) I called the tls contact number and told them I couldn't book an appointment, they were able to get me the nearest date that was available.

Try calling and hear what they say.

Please who has a contact at Ups? I have been expecting delivery since yesterday and even went to their office and they said my package is “out for delivery” but it doesn’t reflect as such in the tracking website. The contact of the delivery guy they gave me has been switched off since morning.
