Cooldowntemper:Bro they didn't know and they don't know I wish the full documentation and interview of how warri failed will come out with interviews granted to those who had first hand experience. The beauty of a city is the diversity and not awakening the spirit of its our land. Igbos have gotten the memo they will start looking outside lagos. But anybody thinking he can do the business Igbos are doing us just cracking jokes. He doesn't know of what we call import cartels. Soon people will come to anambra to buy laptops, electronics and spare parts just like they are coming to Lagos to do so. Igbos should channel their entire energy on pushing for Onne port and anambra port 5 Likes 3 Shares |

chatinent: The issue isn't about planning laws but for the fact that the buildings earmarked and subsequently demolished had become unsafe and dilapidated. They have been served notice to fix their shitty building or have it pulled down to which they did not comply. It's in pure black and white and explicitly stated that the buildings have become a disaster in the making. 8 Likes |

AntiMarxist:The only reason lagos is what it is today is because of the port. But don't worry the money u squeeze out of a spare part seller, will still be paid by you. Do you have a car in the first place? Or am I wasting my time? 1 Like 1 Share |

Zionmdde: Sharap You offer nothing special and it's known that businesses you dominate today in places like Lagos were once open to all until you guys squeezed others out by unfair competitive practices and through money laundry of your illicit activities. Others will quickly fill the vacuum 21 Likes 4 Shares |

Zionmdde: They should push their business where ronu will not be heard, Calabar Anambra River state. When Jonathan was president they had a bond with bayelsa no ronu then so I think that where they should channel Thier business back to the old easter region, this rubbish is getting out of hand 9 Likes 2 Shares |

chatinent:Buildings are being demolished for various reasons. Faulty structures, lack of building permits e.t.c There were pictures of some of those demolished in Alaba. They were in a bad shape. (See picture below). The ones demolished around the airports sometime in April did not have building permits but the owners built the structures anyway after buying land from Omo onile. 8 Likes

AntiMarxist:I see u are just a school boy But let me give u a little school lesson. Let's say Chukwudi leaves spare parts business for you and goes to anambra and receives his consignment and sells from there, as a businessman, how do you fill in the gap he created in lagos? Or you think the cartel that controls spare parts importation abroad will agree to ship spare parts to you? Ok LASG increases the tax of chukwudi who sells Tyre 30k. And Chukwudi now sells his Tyre to you for 33k, now who pays the tax Some of you are actually very dumb 4 Likes 1 Share |

chatinent: A building constructed over 50ys ago with near zero maintanace and illegal extensions which is sinking on its own additional weight ? Exposed rusting rebar reinforcement . Crumbling supports . Rotted roofing and all plus dangerous electric wiring ? The govt had every right to demolish any property that has become unfit and unsafe even if it was duly approved by same authorities. Can you honestly say these buildings are in their exact state when they were approved by the govt ? If anything the illegal extensions , shoddy renovations are what led to their current state. The govt is right to demolish any building that has breached their safety codes. 9 Likes |

This too shall pass. I hope that after building the modern complex, the acclaimed indigenes will be swift in buying the shops. We don't want to hear from them in the near future that they were priced out of buying the shops. 🤔 4 Likes 1 Share |

Cooldowntemper: That has always been my point. I want lagos state to push Igbos away from the state. Leave lagos for yorubas and hausas. Of course all my days in lagos, effiong, ubong, etc were all call omo ibo, so nothing that affects ifeanyi from anambra will not affect ifeanyi from Delta. Igbos need to learn to face home and together let's develop igbo land 2 Likes 1 Share |

Zionmdde: Abegi . Nah buy and sell you dey do and nothing special at that. Non Igbos who go into spare parts business are ganged up against by you Igbos and chased from the markets. With this age of technology , who needs lock up shops. One well established supply network with a single wharehouse can replace your entire presence in the SW . 18 Likes 4 Shares |

AntiMarxist:Lol, the gang up is from the importers, u go and fight them there. Just like saying u will replace aboki in forex business. Maybe one day u will also think of replacing musa in tomato and food business. U know nothing boy. Absolutely nothing. Somehow years ago I wish a time will come when igbos will start leaving lagos massively. And I still wish it will still happen. We need our best brains back in igbo land. 1 Like 1 Share |

He is the type that hasn't step his foot outside his shithole so he lacks the education that travelers do enjoy. He sees his little shell as a beautiful Eldorado but unfortunately for him the same shell will soon come crashing and his ugly skin will be exposed. |

Zionmdde: You do not produce these parts. You import most of it from chop shops , salvage sites and the new parts are fake from Taiwan and China . The only advantage you have over others are : 1. Indentured free labour with your apprentice system that produces more village touts into Lagos and environs 2. 90% of your operation are funded from illicit activities and that is where you drive out genuine competition You don't pay appropriate taxes. Your operations are a big money laundry set up It isn't a charity as you want us to believe so don't go there thinking you are doing anyone a favour. Now let that sink in. 22 Likes 5 Shares |

AntiMarxist:Oga shut up, you know nothing about the east. Thank God you guys are opening our eyes to the opportunities that abounds in the East. You think we are not moving and relocating? If you are wise you will want money made in Lagos to be reinvested in Lagos and grow her economy but due to your foolishness every kobo now made in Lagos is invested elsewhere. 1 Like 1 Share |

AntiMarxist:Appropriate taxes leads to Appropriate pricing which leads to premium profits. "Unspoken laws of business " in simpler terms commercial drivers are making more profits now than before because they cam raise their prices without raising an eyebrow. So I love that tax part very well. So when are u sending the first batch of yorubas to China to displace Igbos?. U still know nothing boy. It takes decades to overturn some supply chain structures and last time I checked, you guys haven't started at all. So what year are we even looking at? 1 Like 2 Shares |
