One of the easiest way to become wealthy is to be skilled, aunty. Have very valuable and sellable skills that can endear people to you. Especially in this part of the clime wey be say nothing for you if you no stretch. So many graduates out there working and living on peanuts. Shey na 200k job wan make you rich? Or what exactly is your definition of wealth?

Education will take you far, but your skills will take you further if not farthest.
It all depends on what works for u. Some pple earning massive salary are far better and wealthier than some pple who learnt a skill.
While some pple who learnt a skill are better and wealthier than some pple who are earning little salary.

Club Cubana is the answer. I worked there. If you have ever been there or clubbed there, then you'd understand how making thousands could be easy peasy in one night. I could make as much as 500k on a weekend. Then, I was like LAPO to family and friends. If you met me then to borrow you 1M, it would be readily available.

I was a teenage girl, naive and impressionable. I felt everyone had a good heart โ€” like me. I would always help anyone who came to me having money problems. Anyone. I'd make sure you live la Vida loca as far as you came to me for help and I know you.

I had an admission to study in Finland, and then I got duped of over 5Ms by an agent. Sadly, this person was introduced to me by family. Till now, I don't know her whereabouts. I doled out uncountable monies doing giveaways without plans because I felt it would always be there. Even my parents were no good.

Do you know what it feels like to have over 9M in one minute and be stark broke in another? Sometimes, I sit and stare forlornly and just think I have nothing else to live for. When I tell people I'm depressed, they laugh at me and call me bipolar or make jest of me about being depressed. You don't understand it, mate. Like another Nairalander said, maybe I'm just still very weak and playing cowardice to snuff life out of me. Or maybe, I'm still very undecided. Time will tell.

Mind you, I have things going on for me but I can't forking move on. I hate everyone who I ever was there for. I hate them. I regret every forking thing I ever did for them. ๐Ÿ˜ญ. Maybe, I just had too many expectations. Just maybe. But, why should I not? I forking cared for them. Why shouldn't I?

I'm sorry about the epistle.
I'm loving the read tonight and this one cot my attention because its like a summary of most of the regrets I have read so far.

I learned at an early age that "people who do the most -wanna make everyone please" kinda thing are people who are scared of tomorrow.

My moto is let tomorrow fvckn come!...
You are overly nice to everybody because you believe in that "ladder theory" thing of help people on your way up incase tomorrow blablabla...

Why are you scared of tomorrow?
Why do you even have to fall and even if you do? Can't you get back up on your own?
( if you have a bag of precious stones with you on your way up the ladder and you fall... You will pick up your stones and begin the climb back up BUT when you give every Tom, dick and Harry a piece of your stones on your way up, you will fall with an empty bag and start all a fresh!)

Kindness is beautiful but it's not for everyone.
It pays some and doesn't pay a lot others.

It should be more, "we rise by lifting others"!

Same thing here. Mine is even worse. I'll be 40 this year, but still unmarried. The challenge now is getting a wife.

All the girls I've been meeting have significantly flawed characters. Such is life.

The problem is you.

Your head correct well-well.
I normally thing i a messiah send to this world to come and assist everyone but I'm fvcking wrong. Its all bullshit and doesn't make any sense thing about lifting others because of tomorrow.
Its all trash. One of my wife kiddo made me realised that, just act aggressive when you're supposed to and act calm/friendly when you're suppose to.

I wanted to leave the country back then.

Got admissions everywhere England, Usa, and Poland I felt finally I have arrived but unfortunately I got dupped.

Lost every penny in a flash, I couldn't even afford to feed myself.

That day I died inside and till today I will never recover from the shock.

The only reason I'm still is because I'm a coward that can't bear a little pain to end it all.

I wish I could go to bed and never wake up.

Actually, parents are the ones to blame. They procreated and made you. Not God. We didn't ask to be birthed, they choose to do so out of our free will. Sucks.

But, I agree with you. Taking one's life will always be an option. How long exactly should someone keep hoping for?
God is solely and 100% to blame bcuz he made humans come into existence in d first place without their permission or consent by creating Adam d first human on earth which we all dealscended from And subsequently produce generations upon generations thereafter till this present time and beyond.
As long as u feel there is no need to hope for anything again or to live for anything again then taking ones life becomes d only option.
But d problem is d fear of d pain and agony that comes with taking ones life.
Had it been there is a button one can press to take ones life without any iota of pain and agony, I bet d rate of suicide must have completely put humans into extinction

I think you just need to constantly and lovingly talk her out. It's not going to be easy though.

It's affecting me too...
I barely take any step forward without looking back because i think i will be living my parents behind, and it's affecting my growth.

She will change.

This cracked me up...no jokes.

Seem to me like you've been dating an immature girl.

Brings me to the question...what have you two been discussing for the six years? Discussion to settle down is not a one-off thing...

I really can't put my words together rn...not in a good frame of mind.

The greatest regret of my Life is been basically because of Relationship, and the fact that i trust and Love them and I'm a true Romantic and i fell for it at least twice and i never forgave myself for the second fall, and it is the regret that i carry with me till this day, so that's probably the regret I've been rising since.

It's not about you, it's about them. Learn the lessons you need to learn and move on. Don't give them too much power over you.

My regret: being too anxious and not assertive enough, I regret not coming out sooner. Wasted years worrying about it, worrying about pretty much everything. All the time, being too afraid to live.
