Kalvin Phillips was decent for Leeds two years ago before he left. Yes, I watched him. We even discussed him on this thread sef but we all know the deal would be impossible because he played for Leeds.

Those two additions to a City side that already has KdB, Rodrigo, Bernardo, Gundogs, Ake, Ruben Neves, Cancelo, etc, is quite impressive.

Alvarez played the U-20 world cup, won the Olympics and was already playing for Argentina senior team before Man City signed him.

The only guy I didn't really know was Akanji.

No na. They were good additions to Man City.

My point was that Man City went out and bought good players like that despite the fantastic squad they already have.

You and Culer misunderstood me. Haaland will walk into any EPL starting XI. K. Phillips will be a decent addition to any EPL team in midfield. And Alvarez will be a fantastic deputy for any striker.
