Ironically we have been having 24hours power supply, only God knows if this will last up to 3 weeks sef.

Everything is increasing except for salaries that are on stunted growth. From Fuel, that has impacted directing on food cost and transportation. While this Electric tariff increment will have a larger impact on almost everything. But we all know that the Masses will bear the brunt if it all.

Which way o? How do a common Man survive with all these skyrocketing Bills?

I was one of those who was against the unplanned removal of subsidy. I support the removal,but is of the view that measures on how to tackle the effect of the removal, should be in motion first.

We might have backed different people during the election,but the reality on ground now is that we are now in this together.

Power supply in my area is 24/7 which is same as yours.
The proposed increment is at least #100/unit according to the circular in circulation.

baba I dey flex my estimated billing wella. 2h power ac, deep freezer, two burner hot plate, water dispenser and pressing iron for 5k monthly.

Previously 2000 naira gives me 44 units of electricity

4000 gives me 98 units of electricity ..

I may or may not finish 98 units in a month ..

Tv,fans , energy saving bulbs, washing machine ...energy saving pressing iron
are the items I use ..

My freezers are in the shop where we use estimated billing ..

I was amazed getting 29 units for 2000 naira on June 27 2023...

My co tenants could not recharge from 28 till July 1st ..

Brother, sorry to say that the sacrifices you are making is for elected and appointmented politicians' comfortability. They are quick to create problem for the masses, very, very slow to alleviate or soothe it.
