Since you're making money from different sources, you can still keep it but if you've already seen somewhere with a better pay, then you can quit. |

EriMma1:I will suggest you let them understand that you will be giving them service that worth what they are paying you alone, like been available for them for just 20 days out of the 30 days in a month. Let them know you are not forcing them to add to the money because you understand the situation of things but you need to survive the economic situations of the country too. |

Salowise:Even if I get somewhere else, I can't drop it, I can only assign my team to the place so I don't just shut down a stream of income like that. At least, we can be using theirs to sort transportation fare. I was just shocked at the amount of the increment . Hm |

Nobody will emancipate u from slavery until u emancipate urself. Anytime I work in any place from the 1st day I step in there I already have a mental picture of what I want to achieve, my expectations and how long I plan to work there all things bring equal. My first expectation is experience not money. 2nd is connection's and network 3rd is money. So depending on these factors I will determine if 5k increase in 6 years makes any sense. This also depends on ur level, qualification and previous experience. |

EriMma1:Question is, what other better choices do you have? Would you rather leave only to go on to do nothing just to make a statement or stick with them until you get a better option? |

EriMma1:I once taught students home lesson over twelve years ago. Some students I collect 40k, for the same work others 20k and even 10k. Until you have too many clients, everything is negotiable and your clients may determine how much they pay. And it's not easy getting too many clients. Note they are all important. |

What do you mean by other client's? Client's don't pay salary, they pay for service rendered. Are you referring to your employers? Cos I don't understand. EriMma1: |
