Attach it to your POF. It was the first document on mine, followed by MBS.

Thank you for the wonderful update.
i will inform and instruct him on what is expected of him as regards subject matter.
Do I still need to wait for the current application result or what should I do as I don't want any delay as regards this fall for my family but for me and my child

ShowYoung:

The agent is mistaken.

Children (age 0 - 8 years) need visitor visa or study permit (age 3 and above) to accompany their parent.

Your 11 month old child should have gone for a visitor visa.

Children of study permit holder who hold visitor visa can study free of charge because Visitor Record will be issued to them at the port of entry which will enable them to study without applying for study permit.

For you, you should have applied for Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP). Visitor visa is not good for you because you will not be able to work or study. The purpose of SOWP is for the holder to work and, recently, study without study permit if the study is not more than 1 year.

In fact, when you enter Canada with SOWP, IRCC will send you an email that they want to add additional 18 months SOWP provided your passport will not expire in Feb. 2025. They want to give you till 2025 or more. This is a new and temporary measure to extend work permit free of charge.

Since you will not need the visitor visa than just to visit and your 11 month old child's application is refused, I think you should reapply for visitor visa for your child and you SOWP.

MBS saves you space and authenticity is guaranteed.

Traditional statements are bulky and uploading them might be challenging if you the account has many trxns. Then IRCC might need to confirm the statement from the issuing bank.

LANDING GIST…..

First of all, I’d like to return all glory back to God almighty for his mercy over me throughout all the processes. So the journey story: My boarding at mmia Lagos was a smooth one because I work at the airport as government officials before my resignation. The airline (Egypt air) checkin staffs request for Acceptance/ offer letter, evidence of payment of tuition, visa, and I was equally asked to login into my student portal. After confirming all, we boarded about 1400 hours and landed at Cairo at about 2000 hours. We were lodged into hotel at Cairo about 0230 hours next day and we were to wake up 0400 hours as checkin begins 0600 hours to fly to Toronto.Meanwhile ,the same process of confirmation of studentship also played out at Cairo airport. The students were asked to show acceptance letter, payment of tuition fee and to also login to our respective school portal. Some of the prospective students we traveled together had issues here as they were not expecting repetition of all the checks. However the 12 hours flight from Cairo to Toronto started about 0900 hours and we landed in Toronto about 1300 hours local time. Immediately we landed, everyone proceeded to arrive can checkin, I scanned my passport and the machine printed a slip for me. I proceeded to Canada border security agents CBSA where I was asked if I came in with fish or meat. I was later directed to a counter where they do attend to student. I met a long queue and I was on the queue for about 1 hour until my turn. The officer that attended to me asked me the name of the school am going and I told him. He asked if I have made any payments to the school and I showed him receipts of the payment I made. After inputting some details into his computer, he told me to sit down for my student permit.

I want to use this medium to still encourage Nigerians that may be interested in traveling through the students route not to be discouraged. It’s not that difficult at the point of entry as some people here have painted. Note that I will be starting my program during the fall sept and I have entered 2 months before the program. When you get to the entry point, be calm, don’t be tense, answer the questions the officer asked politely and it will come through. I appreciate all the info I got from Nairaland. All our dealings will end in praises. Shalom

I am open to help anyone that needs help in terms of answers to questions and clarifications on the study permit.. such persons can dm or send messages to dayborade @ g mail dot com

Hello, please I applied to Centennial college. I had B3 in all my results except English language. I had a C6 in my waec English grade. But I wrote a duolingo english test and had a score of 135. Is that good enough to scale my admission chances or is there any other college I could apply to for undergraduate programs that accept C6 in English

When did you submit your Visa application?are you self sponsored or you have a sponsor? What's the duration of your studies? Have you paid any portion of your tuition fee?

Each school has its admission requirements, go through them to see if you qualify. I doubt anyone here can provide a definitive response on your chances with Centennial College, except those that have gained admission into the college.
