25% requirement is even on a low side. I recommend at least 40% because Abuja has virtually all tribes. And the vote in Abuja which is difficult to manipulate is a true test of the candidate acceptance.

Other states are under party control or ethnic dominance. Election results can be manipulated in other states and that is what happened in most of the states.

Another state that can be used to test a candidate acceptance is Lagos and Tinubu had less than 20% there in the original result.

INEC selected a President for us. He was not elected. And we have started to feel the pains of bad leadership and thoughtless decisions.

your theory is very, very, very right... if Abuja was a State.

However, the bolded is the issue "Other States" and Abuja is not a State.

Based on how constitution put am, it makes sense to address Abuja like a Federal Territory within the Country. The moment Abuja is Addressed like a state, na there formula go spoil.
