With the necessary professional certs... You can get a high paying job.... Naija is a certificate driven country.

Driving at midnight especially in a city like Lagos is a 50/50 gamble.

Omooooo all the best to una sha.

the way this thread has become toxic ehn.. it is well...

rather than learning.. everyone is at each others throat...

to each it's own sha...

As much as driving can make you such much money.. it's on the sacrifice of your body... i don't think anyone wants to do that for too long... Sitting down for 15hr or 16hrs daily.... I don't think that's healthy in the long run actually too... atimes i even get home and my legs will feel like I'm still driving...

no one wants to continually do that for ever...

and all the sacrifices to even make the high figures sef may not be worth it to some of us... we have families... so anything after 9pm.. some of us have set destination to our house... God should bless the little we've made...

imagine you are unable to drive for a while... will you still continue to get income?..

had a friend who drives tirelessly like this back then... 2 days .. 3 days won't come home.... eventually he has moved to real estate... sells land and all now and even makes much moe money at his convenience... no stress.. if you see him.. looks healthier and finer..lol.

so abeg no need to choke some people or tag them lazy because they didn't drive 18hrs....

regardless of how much bolt or indriver makes... most of us here will still pick a 400 - 500k job... with full benefits, HMO, Pension and all... where you can go to work in the morning and come at night... no pressure...

so let's understand to each it's own...
if you like you can join the telegram group.. even me i sent him a mail just didn't get response so i can learn a thing or two and add to what i already know.. doesn't mean i want to start driving 15hrs or something...just to see maybe I've been missing something.. that can help

On a freeday..when there isn't traffic... i prefer indriver... because i can filter my trips... I'd always wait for long distance trips... anything 4k upwards... other traffic prone times e.g closing hour.. bolt because of surge and incase traffic hook us..

so it's all about personal strategy and all...
if you see 800k monthly dashboard, ask yourself are you ready to sacrifice yourself that long.. lol... backpain alone ehn... hian...

anyways bye

Good day bosses, in few days time I would be going to get a driver license and thereafter register on the bolt platform as a driver with my personal car which I will be driving as a side hustle. Please I want to understand something each time am ordering for a ride on the bolt platform I usually see two car options thats bolt category and other I can't get the name now. Please what criteria does a car have before bolt assign it to a particular category or class. Thanks

Bolt: cars from 2003 to 2023
Business: cars from 2007 to 2023
Economy: cars from 1999 to 2003
Depends on the year of your car.

U need not bother yourself about that.

How do you confirm Tyre year
XGhost:

I got burned with new tyres once. The thing picked a screw on the edge and that was it. New tyres won't guarantee that things like that won't happen. So I buy used tyres 2020 latest.

And you paid more in commission because its uber. You are doing well for yourself aje. God bless the works of your hands.

The truth can only come in black and white while myopia has many colors.

The price of fuel will still go up, anybody that wants to sell off their cars should please post it here first before heading to jiiji wink

This is a truthful summary of what most e-hailing drivers face. You can't come here claiming u made millions without your vehicle suffering for it. If other drivers were as concise as this, it will enable people know how profitable the business is. But if you just tell people the millions you make without the challenges and setbacks you go through, there will still be doubters.

Inaccurate. Even as a newbie back then, I was steady grossing above 20k anytime I step out. How has this person not grossed beyond 20k / day? Something is definitely missing

JUNE GROSS EARN with 130k fuel

Net shows 184,366
Subtract fuel 130,000
= 54,000 for the whole month

And yet to deduct:
data of 6k,
call airtime of 5k,
mechanic work of 32k,
tyre gauging of 3k5 in total etc

No profit
I only worked for bolt and fuel station😪😔

Firstly, are you a newbie? Why have you not grossed above 20k in a single day? What type of trips are you accepting?

June gross

800k
Petrol 315k (15k daily x 21 days)

This is your NET earnings, after Uber deducted commission, not gross. You probably hit the 1M gross range with this net. Well done to you.

Can someone recommend a credible and reliable Fleet Company with physical office in Lagos mainland that can manage my car for uber/bolt purpose?

I use to know one at Allen Avenue just by the traffic light but they are no more. A family friend was also into fleet but has packed up and left for the UK with his family.

I am a driver though looking for a car to drive, if you are willing to give one out I don’t mind engaging with you. 08067937074 WhatsApp.
