Yes. Hojlund will start while Vardy will deputize for him. I do not think Kane is at the right age so, I rather we sign a young striker and an experienced one who will not mind sitting on the bench. It must not be necessarily Vardy though.

You need to change your perception of Kane. He still has at least 2-3 years at the top. I'm talking 20-league goals season.

If we land Kane, we won't struggle for top 4 and may actually mount a challenge.

Over 100m for 3 years of quality football and no resale value, Is it worth it?

Liverpool bought Mane and got value from him and eventually sold him before his form dipped for a profit. If Liverpool decide to sell Salah today they'll get at least £70-100m. As of now, even if drops form, no Liverpool fan will question the decision to sign him in the first place.

Look at Cit with Sterling, Sane etc. Our problem is that we buy top players at the wrong end of their careers for so much money when we know they don't have any resale value. At other times, we buy average players and place them on ridiculously high wages making it impossible for us to sell when they don't meet our expectations.

Rashford in particular doesn’t like Greenwood lol

I heard a few of the senior players didn’t like his behaviour even BEFORE his scandal. I think CR7 and Bruno were mentioned so it is possible Rashy was involved as well.

Arab money doesn’t care about resale value. Arab money cares about winning titles, and Kane gives us the best chance of winning titles now. I don’t think Spurs will sell to us though, that is if we can afford him in the first place.

I agrée with your points.

However I’m only pointing out that adding Harry Kane to this squad will definitely improve it. And he’s not the finished article that you sort of painted him to be.

I’ve said nothing about how much we’ll pay for him. Or how terrible our players’ sell on value is. I’m only saying that we’ll score at least 20% more goals with Harry Kane in the team.

Would you be okay with mounting a title challenge (or winning it) and consecutive UCL qualifications 3 years in a row for 100m?

The same way oloriburku brazilian pocolee work with ten hag and came to flop in man u,
diogo costa is the first keeper to catch 3 penalties in a single match in champions league. I watch portuguese league very well, he is better than onana. Onana that you are talking about was sent off because of is indiscipline in worldcup. Onana that will pushing ball outside like ball dey hot him for hand, I trust premier league attackers, dem go score rebounce from man u tired
All these things you're saying don't really mean anything.
He left the Cameroon squad cuz he had issues with the coach. Coach had issues with his style of play. The coach would probably have the same problems with an Ederson or Allison. And I don't blame the coach. Wetin concern Cameroon with passing out of the back.

Secondly, these saving penalties story doesn't mean shit. We'd go for Martinez it we cared about any of that.

For now, the reality is that the Glazers are still here and we have a limited budget.

If Sheikh buys the club then I will care less but at this point, I am not sure if we spend £100m on Kane we will have enough funds to strengthen other areas that needs strengthening...

Top clubs don't care about resale value. Are you buying him in the hope of selling him for profits or you are buying him to drop world class performances to win trophies? It's better to spend 100milliion on a player that will give 3 to 4 world class seasons like Kane than spending 60 to 80million on potential like Hojund and Kolo Muani.

Other top teams are not owned by the Goazers.

We have to sell for ETH to get more money to buy players while other top teams that are expertly run have enough money to get their targets. We have the money but the owners are just greedy.

Now, if the rumors transfer budget is to be believed, signing Kane will see us lock up shop as far as incomings are concerned since we haven't been able to raise anything substantial from player sales.

You can accuse the owners of numerous things but being greedy and not spending money on players is definitely not one of them. We are the top spending clubs in the last decade or close 2nd behind City. We broke our transfer spending in a window just last season here.

Agree on your 2nd paragraph.

How sure are u that Kane will be a success in man U.? United once broke the British transfer record 2 sign Angel Di maria. How did it go? Abi madrid buying worldclass Hazard? or Barca buying established talents like Coutinho & Grizzy?

You are typing too much irrelevant things. Kane is proven, world class and has the track record. Out of kane, Hojund and Kolo Muani who has the most probability of scoring 30 goals next season?

What relevance are those to kane. Why did your club buy a 33yr old Lewandowski for 50million and not use brathwaite, depay plus De jong as strikers?

At this point, I don't even want to care again sef. It's not as if they will spend the rest of the money wisely.

Apart from that, we are known to splash the cash whenever we end the season outside the top 4. Unfortunately, that's not the case this time.

We did spend 80m on Casemiro last season. How old was he?

One thing is constant in their cases; they both went to different leagues.

Transfer misses happen. But Kane is a safe risk

ETH will block our academy players from going to represent their countries in international tournaments and he will still not use them in competitive matches.

Hojlund is touted to be the next big thing. If ETH really believes in this, we should be going for him and a cheap 2nd ST instead of splashing 100m on an Harry Kane.

Everyone talks about signing the next big thing instead of expensive marquee signings. But once another big name gets thrown around, all of these gets thrown into the bush.

Pep and Klopp didn't make all these type of signings until they built a team and knew that marquee signing was the last piece of the puzzle.

Nobody has touted Hojind as the next big thing with his poor goal returns.

You think buying Hojind for 50 to 70million is not an expensive signing lol.
