nairalanda1: I don't agree to this because with the removal of subsidy they are still borrowing money And they will loot the money So tell me this govt is just suffering us They are still going to loot everything I don't support the removal of subsidy cos it is the masses that will suffer it Instead of the govt to checkmate those taking our fuel to outside country. People are suffering Only God will save us. 1 Like |

nairalanda1: **I mistakenly replied an older post of yours earlier...nairalanda1 You remind me of that guy I used to argue with here a long while ago (he always makes the subsidy arguments you are also making here). This is not to say you do not have your points. On the other hand there is no clear vision at the moment to build a more sustainable infrastructure for Green Energy sources and transport systems which will not only save money, but could also make money for people who can produce their own solar electricity and sell it back to the grid. Obviously, we do not see the current Government making the effort to also invest in an Energy-source mix that tilts to cheaper Green energy sources. With so much abundant sunlight: Where are the Solar farms? Where are the wind energy harvesters? Where are the massive electric batteries to store these energies when it is dark and infuse that back into the grid for a profit for the owners? With Green Energy it is possible to build a lot more electric car charging stations than what the current system allows. Yes. I say all the above to simply say this: The Government should remove tariffs or any impediments for electric car imports from China....and just like Norway--over time, you will see that most car buyers will shift towards buying and using electric vehicles .... It is more of a strategic planning thing. Which greedy politicians here clearly lack. |
