Don’t buy the seeds. Buy the seedlings. They come in like six packs. And the first year they don’t produce that much. These ones are in their second year. That’s when they really start to show out. Then they last like 5 years afterwards.
Plant them in a spot where they have space to spread. My patch started from only 6 seedlings and now they’ve really spread.

If fresh tomatoes stayed longer than the expected time... it'd become rotten and might taste sour when cooked.


You can make it into paste... boil and refrigerate...this might expand its longevity.
