busymick:If you can get Tax statement to show your period of employment then you should be good. Otherwise, don't even attempt to assess with ACS if you can't provide any evidence of payment. ACS is now very strict. |

chommi:Technical sales rep is a level 1 occupation and your degree does not qualify. 611312 is not being nominated for any visa. your other option is to explore student visa. |

leon12:Your first step is to get a positive skills assessment from EA. If successful, then there are different factors which might determine your score such as, your English score, if you are single or married, the years of experience approved by EA. You can google immi points score calculator to determine your potential score. 1 Like |

oyetpel: 100% working, just that certain occupations are favoured more likewise some skill assessment are pretty straightforward as compare to others. Grants slow down towards the mid of June but it seems things are picking up as there's couple of grants in the last 48hrs. 1 Like |

AUSTRLIAN DREAM OR NIGHTMARE? What is happening in Australia? The price for Rents is Sucidial? How do people manage to pay such outrageous rents? The house no even dey to rent also. 20 people go dey fight to rent 1 room. Obodo Oyibo...Na sooooooo!!!!! The houses are not even new, houses from the 70s with little or no maintenance or renovation works. How and Why should people buy houses from 600,000 - 1 million AUD? House oooooo!!!!! Where is the job in Australia that pays this much? |

blackbriar:are these rhetorics? People pay the rent and buy those houses cos they make the money! it's expensive but people are still buying and renting which is not exclusive to Australia. it's the same in other countries. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by Nobody: 8:25pm On Jul 17, 2023 |
tunlex01: Thanks for replying. It was actually sent by email. And no l didn't confirm with Vetassess when it was sent. My bad. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by blackbriar: 1:29am On Jul 18, 2023 |
tunlex01: Good day Sir. No, these are not rhetorics. To the white man , all houses are Investment properties. They take out mortgages that they cannot afford and transfer the loan debts to renters. The Australian govt is not doing anything about rent regulation or even building affordable housing. Wait!!!!they are doing something, Blaming the migrants for putting more pressre on the housing crisis(the house wey no even dey to rent among the natives in the first place). Secondly, It is not same all over the world except for (UK,USA,CANADA, and AUSSIE) where houses are all investment properties. In other parts of the world , houses are houses. |

will007:With any of the 3 accounting bodies, there is hardly a chance if you dont have a degree in Accounting. Try student visa application for masters. https://www.charteredaccountantsanz.com/become-a-member/migration-assessment/australia-immigration/qualification-assessment-criteria/competency-areas |

Hi everyone Please I have a ask. Recently I've become greatly interested in the Australia visa pathway. I've always been but it seemed so unattainable and somehow l ended up in the UK last year and thankfully got a skilled worker visa. I'm a graduate of Library and information science and I currently work in the UK Higher education sector as a Student and Library Services Assistant. I've got two options for VETASSESS skills assessment 1. Librarian - 224611 and Level 1 ( this gives me a more varied choice as I can apply for a number of visas - 190, 489, 187 494, 482 and 491) the most realistic pathway for me here seem to be 190 and 491 2. Library Technician- 399312 and Level 2 ( this only gives me the option of 494 and 187) I want to assess as a librarian but I must admit my job description doesn't closely match with Librarian going by ANZCO's definition especially as student support services/front of house support is a core part of my job. I still do library tasks like Shelving, referencing, reservations, cataloguing and classification (at least my official offer letter/job description has these). I feel this is more closely aligned with library technician than librarian at least going by the description set out by ANZCO. Has anyone here assessed as a librarian and got a positive outcome with VETASSESS? I no wan troway money 😀 Also, I'm barely one year into my role but willing to wait until December when I'll be officially one year working here so I can get positive assessment. My profile 1.Less than 30 years of age 2.Degree qualification and masters in view 3.Could potentially make 10 points from English assessment and 20 if I'm audacious enough 4. Potential One year work experience in my nominated field 5. Unmarried 6. Registered member of the Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) UK |

Hello All, I need some clarity please. For ACS skill assessment, the part around evidence of payment. Can offer letter(s) - showing remuneration be presented in cases where pay slip is not available. I have cumulative 12 years work experience as an IT Professional with about 4 companies. Detailed response will be appreciated please. |

Offer letters won't cut it. You will alternative documents that show evidence of pension and/or tax remittances. Also, you will need bank statements corroborating your salary payments. Vbabs: |

Thanks for your response. So you mean i can download my pension or tax remittance from start till date as evidence? Bodacious1: |

If you have access to your pension statements online, then yes you can. I have limited knowledge on the process for tax remittances so I can't say much about that. Vbabs: |

@ Tunlex01 Please I'm having challenge with obtaining reference letter from my place of work, what alternative document can I use for that? Also, COREN recently got admitted as provisional signatory into Washington Accord. Can COREN registered members now skip assessment from EA? |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 6:41pm On Jul 31, 2023 |
madapcmod:You can get it from your supervisor. if not, create one with all the required information and take it to court for notarisation. They will create a cover letter in addition to the reference letter you have prepared. The information was confirmed to be false. 1 Like |
