This simply means only people who are not in Australia "Offshore" can apply and they can only apply for visa 489 with that occupation

Gurus in the house,

Please is there anyone in the house who has applied as a Public Relations Professional of recent?

I want to know ones chances as a PR professional considering the fact that few states nominates it. One even has it on it's special occupation list of which one must have 90pts to be eligible for state nomination in this current year.

Thanks for the clarification.
So it means such job code can't apply for PR under the 189,190 and 489 subclass.
Should someone complete a Masters programme in Australia for this job code can the person apply for PR or same conditions apply?
bellong:

You will claim 5 years since it is the same occupation but different companies. The company you work doesn't matter as long as you are performing same job functions.

It means exactly that.

2. Some occupations have too many applicants in the pool. The department decided to push up the invitation points for those occupations to make things easier for themselves.

All pro-rata occupations need at least 75points to have hope of invitation as it is the case currently. Things may change later because immigration policies get reviewed periodically.

Congrats Aussielyfe.

Please my Ogas

I really need help and advise now on my next step...

I have a BSC in computer science and have about 10 certified year in the IT domain.

I had early tried applying for the Aussie PR, but i had my points cut (especially for degree and profession verification by ACS because i had my degree from a Nigerian Private university i was given an Advanced Diploma equivalent and also they cut my years of experience to just 2), which made my overall points depreciate. I was quite upset that i gave up. By the way profession opted for was IT Business Analyst.

I have recently rekindled my zeal to pursue this (by force we must relocate from this naija). Please what do you advise and what are my options.

Even if you complete PhD and it is not available for any of the three subclass, you cannot apply for PR. However, immigration policies keep changing, the occupation maybe restored on the list later.

You can nominate a closely related occupation that is on the list.

Could you please stop writing in Caps? It means you are angry with us all, it is a rude gesture when writing on the internet in full caps all through.

To your question, your employer must be remitting your tax to inland revenue. Go to inland revenue Office nearest to you to request for your tax statement. It is what you need.

@Buzu84,

What kind of suggestion do you want? I guess you should contact Alphadoor and Azy123, they are the Prof of ACS.

OK,I get you.As it's available for visa subclass 186 which is Employer nomination, should one complete studies and starts work in Australia can the person now apply for PR under the 186 stream for Pr?or PR is just available through 189,190 & 489 only?

Nominating a closely related occupation means another occupation that is on 189 list but has similar job functions as per Anzco job code right?
