Good morning house, I have been trying to book on appointment on TLS but I can't checkout my booking, do I have to pay for any of the services they render like flexi or prime time before I can make a booking please. It is becoming tiring as it won't just respond when I click a date. Thank you! |

Nnefab: Good morning.I read what you are saying. The same way she was refused for claiming to spend 10days in the Uk as a first time visitor,my childhood friend came as a first visitor to attend my child,s funeral for 5days and was granted. Every application is considered purely on its own merit and your mum,s application would not have been the same as hers with identical documentation. I hope this makes sense. 1 Like |

Yes I did and when I click on any of the dates, it will tell me to confirm my option and at the end would not confirm the date I chose. Thank you for your response. |

Visa alert 🚨 Applied 4th Biometrics on the 7th Transferred to DMC 7th (priority) Got a mail from uk on the 10th (undergoing consideration) Got 2 mails From VAC for collection on the 12th Documents: Was told to submit an invitation and my brothers proof of residence since he is the one inviting ( brother is a citizen). 2) my passport 3) POF. That’s all oh. But me I added my work reference letter and introduction, my leave letter , my utility bill, my CAC documents . Just collected my visa stamped in my passport. What GOD cannot do , does not exist. Exactly 7 days I submitted. I believe if they say your Travel documents is ready for collection ( then it means they gave you the visa. (My thoughts anyway) 2 Likes |

Please its urgent. Good day everyone and the gurus in the house. I just made a mistake on my salary account. I am preparing to present the bank statement to UK embassy nest 2 weeks for visiting visa. when I took the decision that I want to visit the UK this year, I stop every other fund that do go into the account . So only my salary has been going in for the past 6 months, and I do withdraw some money for my normal expenses for the month just yesterday I mistakenly transferred 10k from my other account into the salary account. I totally forgot what am about to use it for, and regretted it. So gurus in the house hope it will not affect my chances or is there anything I will do. |

Hello to all the Gurus in the house. Please I need your guide! I am applying for UK visit visa to celebrate my one year marriage anniversary. My wife will be joining me in the UK from the US. And the whole vacation days is 11 days. We intend to spend two days first in UK, two days in France, two days in Spain, two days in Switzerland, and finally going back to UK to spend two days before we depart back to our various countries. That means we will spend 4 days in UK. My first issue is that I transferred large sum from my other gtbank account to my salary account (600k, 230k and 150k) In a space of 2 months, which makes the total money in my salary account to be 1.6m. This is because I will be submitting the bank statement of my salary account since I don’t have cash inflow to the gtbank account. The large sum I received into the gtbank was sent to me by my brother to help build my salary account. PLEASE HOW CAN I WRITE TO EXPLAIN THE LARGE SUM DEPOSIT SINCE IT WAS DEPOSITED FROM MY OTHER BANK THAT STILL BEARS MY NAME. PS: My wife is the major sponsor of the whole vacation. The 1.6M in my account will also be used to support the vacation. My second issue is that from the UK online visa application website, I tried to make payment of the visa fee, but it keep saying “payment was refused by your card provider”. Please what can I do to make the payment. Once again I thank all the Gurus for their great support. |

Dear Nairalanders, Please, does anyone know how soon one could get a standard appointment at the moment? If I submit my application today, can I get appointment next week or week after? Anyone that has recently applied and booked appointment should kindly guide me. Thank you |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 10:16am On Jul 14, 2023 |
icagbons: Since the money moved is from your own account, it should not be an issue. For the payment of your visa fee, are you using a Naira card? It will not work. It is easier for your wife to pay the fee since she is in the US and the availability of Dollars should not be an issue for her. If your wife cannot pay for whatever reason, open a Dollar Dom account and fund it with Dollars. I hope this helps. |

Cashmadam: Thank you for your reply. Do I need to also print out the bank statement of my other account that I transferred money from to add to the document I will be submitting? Or I should just only use the bank statement of my salary account that have a good cash flow history. |

Hello everyone, I did my biometric at ikj tls 7th June Additional document mail dropped 16th June Document sent & received 19th June Made a paid call July 6 and was told a decision has being made that I should expect mail anytime this week. None came was forced to make another paid call yesterday, she was surprised to why I haven't gotten any mail cos a decision has being made a while ago. She insisted I check all my mail & spam. She concluded that TLS in lagos might be the one delaying the mail that she has escalated it tho. Before the June 6 call, I got a from UKVI to appraise the services rendered. I send a mail to TLS about the outcome of my call and TLS got back saying the reason I've not gotten a mail from them yet is likely UKVI haven't official informed of the decision taken. Guys, what next from here? |

xxyy: I’m in the exact “same” situation and I am so upset about this to be honest. Same TLS Ikeja. I made a paid call and the agent said a decision was made 5 days agooo! No email from UKVI or TLS pickup e-mail but I also got a survey to rate UKVI’s services some days ago, probably just after they made the decision. I don’t even know what to do at this point. Sigh. |
