will be awesome if it happens. It’s high time politicians leave the sports sector entirely for pple who re well experienced in that field

Ex internationals like olofinjana, emenalo, oliseh, kanu, tijani, eguavoen etc should be the ones manning positions in the nff not politicians who know nothing with regards to that sector
.

Exactly

Senegal, Nigeria & Tunisia are all in easy groups on paper. I pray that village people will not shake the table. Egypt & Morocco may not find it funny. Our Ghanaian bredas may not find it easy with Mali. Cameroon too should beware of Cape Verde.

History disagrees with you. Just winning out home matches won't suffice. We have to win everything or we'll repeat history.

This is an exact replica of the 2006 World Cup qualifiers. We played 19 games and coincidentally also had Rwanda and Zimbabwe in our group then. Nigeria won 6 games, drew 3 games and lost just 1. On paper that should have been sufficient to qualify but a motivated Angola did ahead of us.

We have to approach each game seriously and make sure we win. An other turnout is setting ourselves up for failure.

That infamous head to head, and the then Nff discussion to take the all important match to the scratching Sun of Kano, do us correct strong thine

never said that rohr is pep or Jose but that he knows our team very well of which 90% of the current super eagles players played under him when he was in charge

That’s my only worry
If we had a good coach I doubt if this will be your worry.

Even if Rohr knows our team 101% Eagles with a quality coach will crush Benin home and away for sure.

Rohr is a grade D coach, likewise the businessman Peseiro we have as a coach!

Decent group. On paper we have undoubtedly the more talented assembly of players but talent in itself is not enough especially in today's modern game.

Whoever is made the sports minister should have qualifying for the world cup as part of their KPI. This means giving the NFF every support they can spare because the present football leadership doesn't look proactive enough.

Between Uyo and Abuja stadium should be our home ground. Every effort should be put in place to ensure the pitch is to our favour.

Coaching matter should be sorted ASAP between JP or Finidi. I'm quietly confident any of the two should be able to qualify the SEs.

With determination and some luck by God's grace Nigeria will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Let's start with the permutations.

Historically, we should be able to take six points off each of:

Benin
Zimbabwe (this one too sure)
Lesotho.

And the other 2, we are capable of getting 4 points from each of them.

For those that want the sack of Peseiro una for pray make Nigeria no qualify to Afcon 2024 so they will sack him. Do you guys expect NFF to relieve him after meeting target 1🤣?….they already setting target 2 for him(get to afcon semifinals)😃

But a clear official statement needs to be issued . They can’t just keep mute about his situation

Please no. That is interference and FIFA doesn't joke with that. The feds should indict those corrupt people within NFF and the rest will sit up.
