Dear xxxxxxxx

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. I have reviewed your study permit application
and supporting documentation to assess whether you meet the requirements for a study permit
(https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/
eligibility.html). This includes assessing whether you are coming to Canada temporarily for the
reason(s) you describe in your application. I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) (https://lawslois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations
(IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/index.html). I am refusing
your application.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/
section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

Home ties not strong enough I guess

Are there any canada universities that take third class for masters? Or better still for premasters? Not asking for anybody but for myself.

Yes there are. I think I made a post about it a while ago.

You can try ABC, Matrix and Cegep. They’ll take 3rd class. Good luck in getting your postgraduate diploma admission.

No. I have not seen one for masters.

For pre-master, I have also not seen one but you may inquire from different universities.

Please House,

How much (Funds) are my supposed to have or prove as a DEPENDANT for our application to Canada to fly?

Note: We are family of three.

Many Thanks in anticipation.

Delete all of these. You know it is not right as funds declared should be yours. This is public forum please.

Yes it is risk free. I got mine at 2% . I wrote a letter to the bank stating that the amount (#10m in my case) be put on lien and be automatically transferred back to the owners account once the agreed time is due.I and the owner of the funds signed and got an account manager to help ensure compliance. The 2% interest rate is paid monthly to an account provided by the owner of the funds

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by macdeeza: 4:15am On Jul 16, 2023
remember the questionnaire you answered after setting up GCkey. there is a question specifically asking if ur study has a work component. probably you answered yes, now they expect you to provide evidence. So you might want to go back and check the answers u gave to those pre application questions.

If your stop over is just in Paris only, you need no visa: but if it's involving two countries in Schengen, you need a visa.

lol. that was a detailed info and they wonder why the refusal rate is very high with nigerian applications. that's a public confession of a potential crime.

Upon asking you the same question many times, it is quite clear you do not understand my question. You either misinterpreted my question and gave yourself an answer or intentionally are trying to manipulate the question just to avoid the truth.

You should know that the following sentences are different to each other:
1. Do all universities accept ALL BACHELOR DEGREES FOR MASTERS PROGRAM?
2. Do all universities accept BACHELOR DEGREES FOR MASTERS PROGRAM?

My question is the first one and not the second one. Anyways, I do not expect you to give an answer because you have not been able to many times before.

How can two constructively argue when one cannot or has refused to understand a sentence?

I think I will pass at this stage.
Let it rest bro, you are just sounding over desperate to prove a false claim at this point. I belived I asked you earlier to elucidate what you mean in the bolded, yet, you still masking... if real and direct answer is what you need and not rigmaroling, kindly rephrase your question... it's OK to rephrase question... Just to help you out, is this the question you are trying to ask - "is it possible to do a master’s program without having a bachelor’s degree" ?

Rephrasing a question is to write something again in a different and clearer way

And a quick reminder you are yet to reply these 2 moniker...

Good morning all,
Please what is the process like at port of entry and which port of entry should one avoid or troublesome.
What are the documents to carry along
Do they ask for bank statement,
Can I go with the same bank statement I used to submit my application, the statement is dated April 13th.
And the money has been touched, so printing recent one will show very low balance.

Please what is your advice

They might ask you to open your bank app to confirm your claim. Some people have been asked that at the point of entry... Expecially if noticed you are yet to pay any of the Tuition fee... To be risk free, let that money be available before getting aboard a plane...

There's no cheap flight for that date. I doubt you'll see anything less than 1.5m. Also the earlier you book the better.

To avoid transit visa wahala, avoid flights that have stops in USA. Also avoid flights that have more than one stop in Europe.

So book only flights that have one stop in Europe. It could have a stop in Africa (if you use Egyptair or Ethiopian) but not more than 1 stop in Europe

I will be arriving Saskatoon on 10th August with a student visa. I don't have any relation there and no accommodation. Is there any group that I can join?

Congratulations!
Please try to secure an accomodation before leave Nigeria. Temporary or permanent is fine.

You can use Airbnb to get temporary housing at least for a period of 1 week. Download the app on your phone and you can make payment using your dollar card or your wema naira card.

Ensure the unit you book has a refund policy. That way you can get your money back if you choose to cancel your stay fully or in-between.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by CharitoJames(f): 11:01am On Jul 16, 2023
So guys, a friend of mine who got admitted to Conestoga just last week. Got a call from the agent that was processing his Visitors Visa in 2021( he applied September 2021 and did his biometrics then and got tired of waiting then decided to go for studies instead) telling him his visa has been approved but some documents have expired this and that. And sent him his GcKey page which he forwarded to me and it shows the Visa was approved since April 26 but the Agent read it July 13th, this past Thursday.
Now the agent is busy saying trash..that he has till Friday to get his passport stamped but he needs to renew some documents this and that.

I shaa told him I don’t know anything about Visiting visa.
So the question now is… Can he still get that visa stamped on his passport? Seeing that it’s almost 3 months since approval.
Secondly, now he has admission… what should he do? Go ahead and apply for Student’s visa?
Plus he doesn’t have access to his GcKey but he was able to see his UCI and Application number from the picture the agent sent to him.
Thirdly, I asked him to tell the agent that he wants to study now and not visit.. The agent told him it’s not a problem, that all he needs to do is to enter Canada then their guy over there will help him secure admission and the pay is 750k (on top admission wey he don get here already).

Please what’s the best approach in this situation? Should he use the Visitors visa and travel? And what about his admission that he applied from Nigeria? Or get the visa stamped on his passport and still do a new application for Students visa?
And can he still get his passport stamped or is it too late?
