From one of the Queensland Lions FC Coaches end there’s no Video but he gave an excellent review on the SuperFalcons performance, which he said they shouldn’t be underestimated by Australia and Canada.. He also applauded Asisat Oshoala, Ashleigh Plumptre and Onyi Echegini…!

They should have given Echegini , Ajibade or okoronkwo the no10 shirt

The moment Christy Ucheibe played with the no.10 jersey in one of the Friendly game I knew she wanted to grab it.. Ajibade already played the World Cup with no.15 during the 2019 edition and she probably had her reasons for sticking to it same way Uchenna Kanu went back to her no.12.

Wearing that No.10 comes with some kind of responsibilities and huge expectations from the Fans too..

At least Ucheibe have played a major tournament (WAFCON) with the SuperFalcons unlike Echegini and Okoronkwo who are going to their First..

No.10 or not them go still deliver!

Brisbane Arrival : The SuperFalcons first activity after lunch was the players video/ photo shoot with the FIFA TV crew.

A very tiring but exciting moments for the players & Coach expressing different feelings with the body movement in the makeshift studio in the Luxury hotel they’re domiciled in.
the second jersey is nice

Blessing vs Ashleigh

No long stories

Facts devoid of sentiments.

Anyone arguing now is just wasting time.

Of course this isn't a sleight on Demehin. Our hope is that she continues to improve and break new grounds. It will be our joy of she exceeds expectations at the world cup. Right now however, like 7up the difference is clear.

Addendum:

Like I expressed earlier, sometimes a coach maybe decide to use a player, not necessarily because they are better overall, but because they fit best into his game plan and have specific attributes the other doesn't have. It's the most logical reason in my opinion.

Anything to make u sleep at night. One team was mid table and the other fought relegation. Chances are Leicester were without the ball for way longer than Reims. So of course her defensive stats would be padded. How would Tosin intercept more balls when her team is with the ball?

If na by blunder, I think Tosin made one in our recent friendly that almost resulted to a goal.

When? The only mistake made was the bad pass by Onome Ebi when Chiamaka came to rescue.

From Close report she has signed for PSG Ladies but not unveiled yet.. We’re waiting…

As for Patricia George she seems to have ended her Football Career and currently pursuing a career in music…

There were initial reports that she and the American Gisele Thompson were to be signed by PSG.
However, no further reports from L'Equipe were reported on this.

Sad for Patricia George. Too many injuries.

.... The number of injuries to women in football is alarming, they need to study this, and know how to navigate it, as it is more obvious that the male and female physiology is different. They might have to come up with different routines for women because these injuries are just too much. Their workout, etc might just be different...anyway,i am just rambling due to high injury rates in female football.

Can’t see them though, as for Wemimo she has been in the Women National Team Coaching Set up for long at various levels from U17, U20 to the SuperFalcons..

It’s good she’s equipping herself very well having Coach NWPL Clubside like Sunshine Queens and Edo Queens.

🚨UPDATE🚨

Selma Bacha has a sprained ankle and is currently using crutches. The 22-year-old will stay with the team but is probably going to sit out the opening group match against Jamaica.

How long she will be unavailable is yet unknown.

I’m just happy that the few of our Players ranging from Sarah Michael, Chinaza Uchendu, Halimatu Ayinde and Esther Okoronkwo that have recovered from the dubious ACL Injury over the past few years are doing well cause is not really an easy task…

Imagine undergoing 4 different surgeries in space of 13months..
