In 1999 no party could claim to be a major political party, cause all party then was in formative stage. It was after the huge victory of the PDP that they became a major political party. Don't tell me Obi didn't have effect in the North in the past election if you're not living in the North here, we know all what happened, the same dislike and disenchantment the north had for PDP in 2015 was what they had for the APC in 2023, they didn't bother to vote APC not cared who the Igbo's and the northern christians voted for like the Yoruba's did in Lagos. This is another salient legal point that was raised by Olanipekun in his Written Address. The labour party, being 3rd placed party, sought to be declared winner and returned elected without joining the PDP who came in 2nd place in the elections as a party (Respondent) to its petition.
