I've visited most States in the federation. Nigerians of all tribes are nice and welcome visitors wholeheartedly. Most of those creating tribal division online and everywhere have their personal issues or are just catching cruise. Those who attended FGCs in the past enjoyed the bonding across board and have remained friends to date irrespective of tribe. People have lived together for ages in peace. 2023 elections will not end us. ![]() The old national anthem says it all..."though tribes and tongues may differ, in brotherhood we stand." Enjoy your stay but respect your hosts and don't go beyond your boundaries. |

[quote author=Zeezenho post=124502069]Igbo man take because of you run water in his house for you will not suffer stress. Isn't God too wonderful what did you pay with? "oh I use to love them but not any more" This remind me of igbos no they build bridges the one wey we build never do? If your bridges are not good enough you guys too should build some to compliment it. What's this one saying |

Promicah:I am from the SE but grew up in the SW and in the North.. I can comfortably tell you the Yorubas are the only tribe in Nigeria that will sit down in groups and say a lot of lies/evil things about the IGBOS....... When they gather together you will hear them saying "Awon heebo buru" "wan buru gan" "heebo buru" And you believed one of those lies.... Reasons why you were scared.... Even when a Yoruba man visit the SE they act like SE is some sort of Afghanistan.... (Before UGM started messing things up) Few days ago I was with a friend and I heard a child below 15 years saying it's an abomination to marry Igbos because igbos are wicked... |

Why Yoruba too dey fear? Among the three major tribes, I respect Igbos and Hausas alot, we can enter any part of Nigeria without shaking at all |

There's a Yoruba Akara woman near my street, in Aba. She's a widow. Her husband, an Igbo man, died many years ago. She had six children with her late husband. Due to the generosity of the Igbos and the love she received from them, she pledged to never go back to her paternal (Yoruba land). She doesn't even visit. She said she will continue to live and die in Igboland; it's her home. It's mostly those who read about Southeast on propaganda sites speak trash about it. |

Basic123:Basic 123, stop whining us😁 I love yorubas too, but twice encounter I had with my Yoruba visa agent, who scammed me about four years ago and scammed my family on my brother's visa this year that runs in millions of naira , coupled with this nairaland tribal comments here changed my perspective about Yorubas, though I have Yoruba customers which I have been doing business for past years without issues. |

Promicah:When it comes to things like this, you call them Nigerians, but when it comes to election time, you see them as separate entities that don't deserve to lead the country. Until we all change our attitudes towards our fellow country men then this country will start becoming great. |

Abeg if you dey around Ukwa west, or your waka go reach there, make we link up. I just hope this government will better the lots of His people. But please note, anywhere you find yourself, no follow girl go him papa house. You go get issue. |

You are sounding deranged! What has his desire to marry an Igbo woman got to do with your curse? How is he supposed to know if he has a drop of igbo blood in him. So if his great great grandmother was an Igbo then he will be cursed. You must be sick MTNnews: |

Promicah:You never been to Any part of Igbo land before. But you already had a disposition about them. That's the real rot. A lot of people like you already had this bad conclusions about the other tribes and regions based on hearsay and lies.. And this had formed a controlling factor for their decisions. |

Sharpsharp00123:What's this one saying?? Is it not a shame that some criminals and heartless-killers remained “Unknown” for two good years,, and we have security.?? And you're here making jokes with it?? |

Diligent1:Igbos will be busy doing their business... You guys will come and assume something about them. The next thing, you will say that they said that thing. Like,,, don't Igbos pay rents? Even if the own the properties,, didn't they pay the money that was supposed to be paid to own the properties?? So,, why provoking people who were already doing their own business quietly.?? |

Meanwhile, in 2017 on my way to Kano from akwa ibom state I lodged at a hotel in Aba and spent the night there. All what I saw was hate and discrimination. Beside majority of my fellow corpers that I served with in ikot ekpene (akwa ibom) are Igbo and my experience with them won't let me believe that we are going to blend in this country together. Their attitude and behaviour towards me prompt me that these people have been fed with a bitter story about the north. So I distanced myself from them. Though not all of them are like that but 99% of nyamuris are brainwashed with civil war nonsense! They believe everyone is their enemy! The south-south people are loving and fun to be with. I missed akwa ibom. But south-east? Hell no, I'm glad I wasn't deployed there! |

Promicah:Thank God your experience was different. For me it was harrowing. At Iddo Park the luxurious bus loaders stole my bag containing ALL my personal effects. Till date I don’t have a single picture of my professional qualification photographs. I had them all in the stolen bag!!!😭. To worsen matters no sooner did I get down from the luxurious bus at Aba than a man bumped into me as if accidentally. It was only moments later when I needed the money in my breast pocket did it dawn on me that the fellow who bumped into me also stole from me in a flash! That was my first contact with the Igbo. That was close to forty years ago!! I must also state that I met nice Igbo while there! |
