Why not when 75 billion is to be given to them. What do you expect.
Tinubu is here to robb the poor and pay his loyal rich friends.

how can you stop subsidy and still be importing petrol from the overseas, was that what OBI taught you?.......since you have refused to think with your brain and bring in ideas of your own.

What we are seeing is truly the picture of Nigeria economy without stable power, lack of infrastructure and no working refinery. It is not about the govt of today. Now forces of the market is controlling the price of fuel. We are in for it because e go still go up.
But it's a direct result of govt policy true or false. Blaming the market is just like blaming lack of sun for darkness. Govt is shirking its responsibility which is affecting the masses
Re: House Of Reps halts motion seeking to stop Fuel Price Hike by NaijaCrusader: 3:07pm On Jul 19, 2023
There shouldn't be any delay in reimplementing the subsidy Instead let them subsidize it to 250-300 naira because since it's removal the economy is spiraling out of control
#return subsidy
#good governance
# human governance

unfortunately the people who use to protest are the ones in power
Exactly my point!!
So why is the rest of the country so docile. We can't blame them if others can't do what they did to get to where they are

As if you can control the price of what you don't produce. Noise making only.

Most of the Reps are in APC, and watching for 8 years as APC leaders dragged Nigeria down to become the poverty capital of the world. Nigerians voted out APC in February 2023, yet the Apc stole presidential election and bent on sending most people in Nigeria to eat from the garbage bins.

I really don't know what the opposition is waiting for to start a protest on the state of the economy.
Are the scared or they are actually in agreement with the ruling party concerning the direction the economy is facing
Any regional protest will not work . The national front is divided along ethnic lines, so it won’t even happen.
To some, Nigeria is better the way it is, anything that agitates the polity is a threat to their ethnic existence.
Re: House Of Reps halts motion seeking to stop Fuel Price Hike by idonhammer: 3:15pm On Jul 19, 2023
The only real opposition is the LP which is currently dealing with Apc in court, the ones you are expecting to start a protest has all been bribed with hard currency.

So they can't do nothing and in this situation

Fuel supply now subjected market price .. Nobody is hiking anything...When more dollars is available in our foreign reserve account, the price will drop...let us work hard to boost our exports and things will change for the better

In a truly free market the price of fuel shouldn't be more than the 490 they were selling before, there should even be a gradual fall with time.
I think this increase in price is just the marketers who were enjoying the subsidy fighting back against its removal.

When u blame marketers what bout NNPC own fuel stations

Subsidy is gone for good. Petrol is not price inelastic, very soon, even the marketers will be begging for buyers. All this showmanship is not a substitute for the national interest.

No I want fuel price to hit 2,000 naira per litre it would generate money into the economy.if u are hoping that fuel price goes down u are A BAD NIGERIAN
As a good Nigerian I support the continuous rise in fuel price cheesy
