Are you sure about that? Same Tosin that didn't complete a single pass in the first half against Haiti? Leading to the Right hand side of the Nigerian attack suffering throughout the first half?. Same Tosin that gave multiple wayward passes, one being to Melchie Dumornay only for her to blow her shot over the cross bar?

Or The Same Tosin when, she was captain of the Women's U20 Team that committed 2 blunders and gave away 2 goals leading to her team being eliminated by Netherlands. 1st goal...Made a half assed clearance ( More Like a pass ) to a Dutch player in our 18 only for her to control with her chest and just kick the ball into the net. 2nd goal...wanted to clear the ball but literally controlled it and set it up nicely for the Dutch girl to just pass the ball into the net.

Oh...Maybe the Tosin that was at fault for the 2 goals PSG scored against her team that ended in a 2-0 loss in her 2nd game?

We have a very bad habit in this country....We have short memories or perhaps we are averse to telling the truth even when the truth slaps us in the face. Smh...

The talk about Haiti is a lie from the dark pit of hell fire. Shame on u. The same Tosin that at 13:00 intercepted a pass, dribbled 2 players and found Ajibade, that Tosin didn't complete a pass all first half Go and watch the match again.

Of course, Tosin!! Because she has played fewer games than Ashleigh with comparable blunders.

Ashleigh turned vs South Africa led to a goal
Ashleigh forgets her marker vs Mexico led to a goal.
Ashleigh getting bodied by Ivory Coast wingers time and time again.

Tosin own goal vs USA

Now tell me what other blunders she has committed?

Stella Mbachu... According To Stats And On-Pitch Performances Is The Most Lucrative Super Falcons Winger In Almost Two Decades 🇳🇬🦅

She was part of the team that won three consecutive WAFCON Championships...🏆

Interestingly, she one of the few ladies that admitted there's an element of practice of lesbianism amongst Super Falcon ladies 🤦🏿‍♂️
‘’I can’t say if lesbianism was rampant or not during my playing days, but I can confirm that we had it at that time too. But the coaches at that time preached against it and discouraged us from the act, telling us the act is evil and we can’t use that to play football. Every player at that time was informed about it and the disadvantages of practicing lesbianism. That is why it was not that rampant in our time."

Thank you Stella, we appreciate your contributions to the national team...🙏🏿

👤 5 games played
🙌🏾 5 games won
⚽️ 14 goals scored
▪️Zero goals conceded

Nora might be a testament to the fact that if Ghana get the right resource their National teams will be better. 👏🏾

Anyway she need to play against the likes of South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Morocco Before we can say something

FIFAWWC23: Five Nigeria SuperFalcon players to watch out for!!!

YoungStar; Rofiat Imuran

No.5
Onyi Jennifer Echegini
Jersey; No.19
Age; 22yrs
Position; Attacking Midfield
Club; Florida State Seminoles, USA🇺🇸

One of the newest members of the team, Echegini was given her debut in 2022 against Canada and has already made quite the impression, Assisting against Costa Rica and scoring against New Zealand with a well-timed run and volley, the 22-year-old management major was a beneficiary of a depleted squad and difficulties securing travel documentation, and has seized that opportunity with both hands.

The highly talented player plays mainly as an attacking midfielder but can also operate in several other positions and has been used as a winger or second striker at FSU. She has even been deployed in a deeper creative Midfield Position and on occasion, as a false 9.
She is often described by fans as one of the best and most complete modern day advanced playmakers due to her technique, skill, athleticism, work-rate off the ball, vision, crossing accuracy, wide range of passing, and powerful long-range shooting ability with either foot. She can take advantage of spaces in the opposition's defence and subsequently create chances and goalscoring opportunities for herself or her teammates, making her a dangerous offensive threat on counter-attacks.. She Plays that creative No.10 attacking midfield role with perhaps the finesse of Okobi, as she can certainly be aggressive and dangerous.

Weakness; Lack the Big Stage Experience..

No.4

Christy Ucheibe
Jersey; No.10
Age; 22yrs
Position; Defensive/ Box-2-Box Midfielder
Club; SL Benfica, PORTUGAL🇵🇹

Years ago Ucheibe made a promise to her mother: that she would see her daughter play for the national team. As a youngster, she saved up to buy football boots by helping her mother sell food in the markets. Sadly, her mother passed away a year before the 22-year-old finally made her international bow. Mama Ucheibe would have been proud of how her daughter is getting on, as the Benfica midfielder has not only established herself with the Super Falcons, but has won three league titles with her club. Energetic, strong and incisive in possession, Ucheibe immediately improved the Nigerian side when she came into the starting XI midway through the 2022 Wafcon.
She can do a bit of everything in the midfield, on and off the ball, and she can impact the game in a variety of ways. With Ayinde likely the defensive midfielder and Tony Payne or Echegini the playmaker, Ucheibe will play a more all-around box-to-box role.
Ucheibe is known for her relentless energy and excellent ball-winning abilities as a box-to-box midfielder in the centre of the pitch. This is attributed to her strong positional sense, off the ball movement, and ability to read the game. Predominantly known for her tactical awareness, intelligence, anticipation, and the defensive aspect of her game, her ability to tackle and regain possession, intercept passes, and block shots.
Former Banyana Banyana striker Amanda Dlamini once said during the 2022 WAFCON that Ucheibe is one of those midfielders that gets on the ball so hard especially when ankles and set pieces are concerned.

Weakness; Need to improve on her Finishing whenever she finds herself in the opposition Box18.

The "Country of residence" made is seem implausible. If it had said by nationality it would have made sense cause we have a large Nigerian community in Australia. By country of residence means we have more persons who reside in Nigeria who bought more tickets than France. Doesn't seem likely. It's why I asked.

LIONS WOMEN TESTED AGAINST NIGERIA’S FIFA WORLD CUP SQUAD.
July 18, 2023

In preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, our Lions Women played the Nigeria Super Falcons in a morning friendly against our Matildas’ Group Stage rivals.

Our Lions took full advantage of an incredible opportunity, playing a warm-spirited friendly against the Nigeria Super Eagles World Cup squad, who are set to occupy our facilities at Luxury Paints Stadium as they prepare for the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The Nigeria Super Falcons squad is four times the African Women’s National Team of the Year. They are in full preparation for their opening match of the World Cup, which takes place at 12:30pm against Canada on Friday, 21st July, in Melbourne.

Nigeria shares a group with our own Matildas, as well as Canada and Ireland, in a tough group full of competition. The Nigeria Super Falcons are entering their ninth Women’s World Cup campaign and will be eager to build on their 2019 WWC Round of #16 appearance.

With a history of success behind them, the Nigeria Super Falcons are by far the most successful international women’s teams in Africa, with a record eleven Women’s Africa Cup of Nations titles, most recently coming in 2018. They are the only women’s team from the Confederation of African Football to have reached the quarterfinals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. They are among the few teams to have successfully qualified for every edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

For our Lionesses to share a pitch with such an esteemed opponent was an incredible honour and an incredible opportunity to learn, admire, and develop their football further. To put the Nigerian quality into context, their squad boasts players who have succeeded at the top level of football across Europe, from FC Barcelona in Spain to Leicester City in England.

Our Lionesses played with pride against an esteemed opponent, holding our ground against an incredibly athletic and dominant opponent. With impeccable strength, speed, athleticism, control, composure, and vision, Nigeria showcased the level that World Cup teams play at.

Jamilla Rankin made a sliding goal-line clearance in the fifteenth minute after a low strike across the goal beat Elli Chapple. Minutes later, Chapple made a crucial intervention, showing authority in her box to punch away a dangerous cross.

Nigeria opened the scoring in the twentieth minute, with Ifeoma Onumonu hooking a right-footed strike into the very top-right corner from the edge of the box. Onumonu plays as a centre-forward for NJ/NY Gotham FC in the National Women’s Soccer League in America.

Elli Chapple made a fantastic diving save against Onumonu moments later before Toni Payne kissed the bottom left corner via the woodwork with a pinpoint strike from twenty yards out. Payne currently plays for Sevilla FC in the Liga F league in Spain and contributed three goals from left-back last season.

A flurry of loose balls, failed clearances, and scuffed shots bounced around our box before Cannon Clough demonstrated her leadership, clearing the danger with composure.

Asisat Oshoala burst into the box, controlling the ball on the spin before elegantly lifting it over Elli Chapple from the centre of the box to make it three-nil. Asisat Oshoala is perhaps the most acclaimed member of this Super Falcons side, currently playing for FC Barcelona Femeni in Spain. Oshoala has won the UEFA Champions League twice with the Blaugrana, most recently last month against Wolfsburg. Oshoala has 99 goals in four years at FC Barcelona and has previously played for Liverpool and Arsenal in England.

Asisat Oshoala has a cabinet of honours, both individually and across her team career, and scored 21 goals last season from the centre-forward position. Oshoala scored a second goal against Chapple in the second half, planting a first-time strike into the top-right corner after a sharp cutback at the edge of the box.

The Nigeria Super Falcons continued to demonstrate their excellence after the break, with Atletico Madrid’s Rasheedat Ajibade scoring the fourth following a series of rebounds. Tara O’Keeffe struck the crossbar with a deft first-time strike from the edge of the box after Amy Gunston won an intense footrace down the left file and hooked a sharp cross between two defenders to meet our midfield maestro.

Halimatu Ayinde from FC Rosengård in Sweden made it six with a left-footed strike into the top right corner before Chapple continued to stand her ground, recording another fine diving save against a mighty effort from range.

Uchenna Kanu of Racing Louisville in America scored a seventh before Meghan McElligott won a penalty as our Lions burst forward on the attack. Kalli Cowles guided a powerful penalty into the roof of the net, earning a goal for our Lions and showcasing our spirit. It was a deserved reward for a hard-fought performance that saw our Lionesses remain positive and determined against a World Cup-calibre side that performed at a completely different level.

Nigeria was awarded a penalty, which Elli Chapple heroically saved, diving to her right to parry a low strike away from the bottom left corner. Unfortunately, Gift Monday of UDG Tenerife in Spain scored the rebound in the final action of a thrilling 8-1 loss.

For our Lionesses, who are at the forefront of women’s football in Queensland, it was an incredible opportunity to face some of the best players in women’s football across the globe, competing for ninety minutes against a season and honoured Nigerian national team.

The result wasn’t important in the match. It was an honour to share the field with Nigeria, and our Lions Women will take what they have learned into the rest of the season. We wish the Nigerian Super Eagles the best of luck in their FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign and are proud to welcome them to Luxury Paints Stadium as their Team Base Camp.

Highest goal scorer: Sam Kerr

Highest assist provider: Caitlin Foord

Fastest player: Barbara Banda.

You're wasting your time. Mrveli has this subtle anti-white inclination. Also, if you're an observant person, you'll have noticed that he generally doesn't like to throw support for those who he feels enjoy some sort of "undeserved privilege" for reasons unrelated to football ability.

Just to note, some other persons too both here and on the guys thread display varying levels of bias towards several different things. I just wanted to point this out for you just in case you think this argument is heading anywhere.

No.3

Chiamaka Nnadozie
Jersey; No.16
Age; 22yrs
Position; Goalkeeper
Club; Paris FC, FRANCE🇫🇷

In 2019 against South Korea, Nnadozie made history by becoming the youngest woman to keep a clean sheet at a World Cup finals (aged 18 years and 186 days). She has gone on to establish herself as Nigeria’s undisputed No 1, shedding the nervousness that characterised her first outings and blossoming into one of the finest goalkeepers in the French top flight. Not bad considering she started her career as a right-back, and also played as a striker. She is considered the best singer in the squad, She’s always with the Music Box.

She is the starter, and nothing will change that unless she's physically unable to play. Despite there being goalkeepers who have arguably performed well too in recent years, Nnadozie combination of youthfulness and her recent reps with the NWNT make it clear she is the No.1. Nadozie has proved she can deliver in big moments. She is particularly known for her exceptional reflexes, shot-stopping abilities (with both her arms and legs), agility, and footwork, as well as her handling, capacity to read the game, and ability to come out to collect crosses, which enables her to command her area effectively.

Weakness; Overconfident and tends to come out distance to take Free kick outside the Box.!

Esther Ijeoma Okoronkwo
Jersey; No.21
Age; 26yrs
Position; Forward
Club; UDG Tenerife, Spain🇪🇸

A former star athlete in the American college football scene, Okoronkwo is unique within the forward line in that she is predominantly left-footed. Capable of playing centrally or on the right, she made her debut in 2021 and has already developed a knack for scoring important goals, including the one that secured Nigeria’s qualification for the 2022 Wafcon. Missed almost a year due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but returned to score against Costa Rica and Haiti and ended a historic six-game winless run in February, and also helped her former side Saint-Étienne gain promotion to the French top flight before moving to Tenerife in June. Loves to dance and possesses mesmeric footwork with the ball.

She's a solid goal scorer and an excellent presser, and her recent form with the National team makes her a choice that Randy might feel more confident in.

Esther is regarded as a skillful and technical player, capable of playing on either flank, due to her versatility. Tall and lean, she has a burst of speed to match, making her a dynamic forward. She stretches and disrupts defences with her movements, with and without the ball. Esther is a prolific and proficient dribbler; she drives from deep and then overtakes players in one-on-one situations around the box with skills.

Weakness; Her Right Foot is Weak.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:59pm On Jul 19, 2023
No.1

Asisat Oshoala
Jersey; No.8
Age; 28yrs
Position; Striker
Club; Barcelona FC, SPAIN🇪🇸

A five-time African Footballer of the Year (a record) and the first African woman nominated for the Ballon d’Or, Oshoala is the undisputed star of the team and its biggest goal threat. She recalls needing to come up with convoluted stories to explain her late returns from school, as she would sneak off to play football. She had an agreement with her parents that, if she had not had her big break in the game by the age of 20, she would give up football and study for a law degree. The versatile Barcelona striker actually played the 2012 Under-20 World Cup as a defensive midfielder, before returning to the competition two years later as a forward and finishing as top scorer.

For a while last year, Randy seemed intent on finding a replacement for Oshoala as she was absent in numerous occasions due to one reason or the other, and then he came around to the realization that there isn't one.
There's no question Asisat Oshoala won't be battling for a starting spot,
She's the clear No. 9. Driving at defenders face-up to goal, holding up the ball back to goal, attacking centrally or from wide areas. Oshoala is a handful for any defenses. And while that means she is sometimes tightly marked out of getting on the scoresheet, she's positionaly very good, her off-the-ball work opens up scoring opportunities for her teammates

Weakness ; she tends to miss a lot of goal scoring Chances Sometimes..
