Same here yesterday. I left Iyana Oworo around 7am and got to Adeola Odeku around few mins to 8am. There was no single traffic on 3rd mainland bridge compare to the usual traffic I experience on a normal business day.

Many can't cope with the current situation. It's really pathetic. People are really feeling the heat.
Sold my car recently & I dont regret it one bit

Actually, I am happy with this increment because it reduce the generator noise to the minimum. Some useless set of people in my compound that don't allow me to sleep at night can no longer put on the generator again.

I hate it when people put on gen to run overnight
I swear!!! Very annoying!

Not all Igbo hate the Yoruba and Yorubaland. I am sure of this fact 101%! My only issue with those minority of Igbo is that they don't speak up because they are scared. It is their silence that gave room to those ignorant of their positive vibes to dominate the narrative. I know many of my Igbo friends, especially the childhood friends, who will rather converse with me in Yoruba language than in English language. In fact, my Igbo friends overseas do it even more so that foreigners around them don't hear our conversations.

These minority of Igbo with excellent relationships and experience with their Yoruba need to speak up more and showcase how they have been blessed by their love for Yorubaland so the hate-filled Igbo can realise how they are hurting themselves and the Igbo tribe's reputation and relationship with the Yoruba.

Those Igbo who love the Yoruba and Yorubaland will always live in peace in Yorubaland, respect the Yoruba culture of respect for elders and leaders, pray for peace and prosperity of their hosts and Yorubaland will in turn bless them. They are the ones who are already Yoruba even by adoption. They will not go into politics of lies, hate and bigotry against the dominant political interests of the Yoruba not because they don't have a right to do so but because they cherish the Yoruba and want to make peace. They are not cowards but exposed, emotionally intelligent and wise people.

Meanwhike, this is the best time to invest in Lagos and the neighbouring SW states. Invest in Lagos today.

I couldn’t help but like your comment . I’m in fact one of those Igbos that love Lagos, since my family have been there since before the 60s.

But you also need to understand that most of the Yorubas that hate Igbos are down on their luck, and so angry that they don’t have the means to benefit from the economic activities booming in Lagos, and they somehow think igbo man is to blame.

My Yoruba supplier told me last week that I’m his best customer, I wonder how he will feel on hearing the rants of a financially hopeless Yoruba loser living in the villages, who’s only asset is a phone, data and free Nairaland to his name.

Oh Yeah! Now you know the kind of people that promote tribalism on social media. Let’s not get into the type of Igbos that promote yorobaphobia in the east, those ones are irredeemable , they don’t worth my mention.

Is that the right way to solve traffic? He's just talking rubbish!

He's killing the economy, and this jester think he's solving traffic problem.

If you want to solve traffic problem, you create a functioning metro system. Now people can't go to work. Prices of commodity is at rooftop. Yet, minimum wages is #18,000!

They're just taking us for a fool in this country.
Lagos metro will start operation next month. More are still being built. How many people earns minimum wage? Minimum wage is not average wage. Moreover, you can have more than one job or side hustle to increase your income.

Because of your hatred towards the igbos, many igbos turn to dislike yorubas. I am sure even though you are Yoruba, you are not from Lagos. Which other city can Yorubas boast of again? You know Lagos is a metropolitan city and the federal government made it possible for the whole nation to contribute in the developement.

is this a joke? when people are not moving to their various places of work to be meaningfully engaged what can you produce in terms of goods and services?

People and goods need to move EFFICIENTLY everyday and everywhere for a healthy economy that's why when I hear people laughing about Lagos traffic I just shake my head. Every minute you was in traffic also is a massive loss and waste to any economy

In the whole hate narrative, the fulani hatred for Ibo people doesn't show. Buhari exemplified the hatred so perfectly that agitations for secession gained popularity.
Meanwhile, it's you other tribes that are busy making noise. Why then will the North not say they are the owners of Nigeria?

You keep claiming people can't go to their workplace, who are the people you're talking about? Cause I have not seen who can't go to work at their workplace in my area and workplace. It's the people who have no reason to go out who are staying indoor.

You need to back up your statement with fact, cause here in Lagos, I have not witness people not going to work because of fuel.

If Ibo people live Lagos, will you travel to the East to go and by the spare parts they sell that keeps Lagos moving? Assuming you have a car.

If you trace your ancestry now, you may be shocked that one of your progenitors are the same ibo you hate so much.
