Nor mind all those People, they think Winning Friendly Matches means you must win at the World Cup too, common it’s a different ball game entirely.

They even exposed their style of play more with those Friendly games, Cut out Supply and Mark out Banda and Kundananji it’s finished for them
This Zambia is the most terrible side I've watched this year both men and women. Japan could have easily scored twenty if not for var and their keeper.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 10:03am On Jul 22, 2023
The GK traveled from California to New York before the penalty was taken...Lol.

Penalty to be Re-taken!

Morocco would be embarrassed too
This ain’t hosting WAFCON rights lol
No home support to push them like WAFCON
They’re in a tough group
Curious to see how South Africa would do

Japan are one time world champions
They also lost their best player/captain it seems
This 1st outing is just for exposure
Japan beat us recently too

Spain will definitely teach them a lesson even without their best Defender Mapi Leon and Patri who’s arguably the best Defensive Midfielder alongside Walsh and Oberdorf..
Damn. It will get real ugly Zambia, especially playing with their 3rd choice keeper

I know they are one of the strongest in this world cup but that shouldn't mean they should come and put up this kind of rubbish performance playing like secondary school girls. Even philliplnes that are also one of the lowest ranked.sides put up a better showing yesterday against Switzerland. Their keeper made over 14 saves. They didn't even have any shot on goal talkless of on target. This is a bad advertisement for Africa.

What a lackluster performance from Zambia...
Any time some of these teams play the SF,dem wan kill themselves for pitch.
Make I see how ojoro Moroccan go play, They are far away from home, LOLS 😂

cut them some slack Sha this is their first and don't forget we have been there too

Zambia and Morocco shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breathe or sentence as the Super Falcons... The only similarities those teams have with the Super Falcons is "African"

But alas, we have a PE teacher for a head coach and an incompetent FA, so this is our reality now.
For real man. The SF usually beat both teams 5-0 or 6-0 as recently as 6 yrs ago

Well let me just say I was deceived by them beating us at awcon and their pre world cup friendlies. They shouldn't just show up against Spain because those ones would possess the living daylight out of them.

When it comes to football, technique will always defeat physicality 99% of the time. It's a shame that African teams are still struggling with the basics of football. The world has gone past Gbas Gbos football.

Omo... Who is watching England vs Haiti, exciting match so far.

I have a joke & it goes like this

Nigeria best player na their goalkeeper grin
The others still dey on trial & error mode lol

Hopefully they click in the next game
We would be facing 13 players. The spectators & referee included
Falcons better get ready because it’d be tougher than the first game

Haiti are already playing 3x better than Zambia. See how WC debutants are playing with confidence

I think we should be more open against Australia than we did against Canada since they rely so much on kerr. I just hope oshoala can just try to show up that day no matter the tactics from waldrum. She has to start showing why she's our best player. Any win for Canada or even Ireland would put us under lots of pressure.

Japan showed how to nullify Zambia’s speed. Mid-block, numbers behind the ball to defend long balls and direct pressure when losing possession. Very patient on the ball and created a lot of chances. Impressive performance from Japan 🇯🇵👏🏽

Zambia should go and learn tactics not depending on only Banda and Kundananji all the time.. Against Spain it might be worse cause they’re quicker with their Play.

She will be eligible to play the game. But I won’t start her cos she has been subpar for the Falcons in the last few games she’s played

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 11:12am On Jul 22, 2023
The SuperFalcons had a quiet day after a very challenging game against the Olympic Champions Canada clinching a point.
They had a recovery yoga session, spent some time in the Gymn and rounded up with a little bit of fresh air with a 60 minutes limit.

That's what having a good tactician does...

For all the talent in the world a team may have, if they don't have someone to harness and bring those talents together, giving them a measurable goal and objective, that'll be all a waste. Case in point The Belgian national team and the English national team of the past decade.
