I believe I appreciated you appropriately when I received it, even though you did it anonymously but your kind gesture doesn't mean i shouldn't counter any of your negative statements...

What was the need of this comment you made when I'm only trying to tell you nothing guarantees everyone security in Nigeria.

Now you're coming to tell me you were the one who sent 5k when you did that anonymously...

Nobody is blaming the driver per say. We are all just stating the obvious here, as a driver, make your safety and that of your car your No. 1 priority. Whether App trip or offline.

Nobody is perfect or Mr. KNOW it all.

Even as expensive as fuel is, I still blow empty home when I don't see request going towards my house. At least I did it twice this past week from VI. I had my peace. I could have picked passengers from Law school or Sandfill but no, I played Roddy Rich on the highest volume and sped home.

As a rider, if you indulge in the habit of booking two rides when you only need one, God will punish you.

I drove from Conoil by Lasuth to Lagos Marriot hotel, this nonsense girl canceled when security was checking me in at the hotel entrance. I called and she said she went with another driver that got there first. God will punish you wherever you are Diamond.
very nonsense attitude I must say. that was how one man ordered and called me immediately. the idiot started by saying are you the uber or bolt driver? I told him whenever you figure which one I am, called the other driver because I'm not coming to pick you. also on friday, one man ordered for his wife, I drove ten mins and called her, she said she is on her way, only for the husband to cancel. i called the husband severally and he refused to pick my calls. I sent him the insult of his life full with curses.

You're still blaming the driver, so are you saying those Taxi drops that picks stranded passengers at night should stop picking passengers coz its not safe?.

Whether you take safety measures or not, you're not perfect, God has been waiving this bad things away from us, he could have also helped pure stranded people as well but he was just unlucky last night, and at the same time, the evil doer time was up.

many have been doing it all their life and they never experienced that, it's not because they are perfect, God is just waiving the bad things away from them, I can't recount how many times I have witnessed a very near bad incident, anytime I experience it, I just give thanks to God for waiving it.

I get we should make use of our head but you can't always trust the head...

Everybody can vote for whoever they want. It’s a democracy. Choices must be made either good or bad. I just love the way you were on this thread before the elections blowing your trumpet for tinubu and APC with your full chest so we all can know that the corn in your back pocket is the giant roasted type wink

The fact is that way back sometime during Buhari’s first tenure we all knew that subsidy had to go at some point within the next regime but for it to be yanked off totally without the government of the day creating a reasonable cushion for the resultant fallout that would surely follow its removal was not what the masses had in mind.

Nigerians of yesterday were too reliant on that scam called fuel subsidy for it to be deleted the way it was by the president. That is the hard truth right there. No proper leader willingly flings his people into the wilderness like tinubu did just because he wants to stop a handful of people from looting out of the scam called fuel subsidy.

The funny thing is that if we were to really check it properly tinubu himself might even know at least 70% of the people involved in funneling those looted subsidy funds into their personal accounts. Why can’t he at least prosecute one of them to show Nigerians that he means business. So now after saving the funds meant to be budgeted for subsidizing fuel then what next? The so called palliatives? Again? After wha we say our politicians do during the Covid-19 era?

The one that makes me really afraid for the next 4 years is this his idea of distributing just N8,000 to select households per month . . . It’s like he’s mocking Nigerians because he knows that more than three quarters of those with PVCs never voted for him in the first place.

Why couldn’t he take off the subsidy payments a little at a time so that the people of Nigeria can at least try to keep up with the inflation and hardships that he knew would surely follow without the subsidy payments being budgeted.

We were here when buhari issued several import licenses to select individuals and commissioned dangote’s refinery to be fully operational this July, let us watch and see if one single drop of oil will be pumped out of that place before the 31st of this month.

Practically everything important to the livelihood of Nigerians has increased in price since he became president. Is it electricity? Food? Transportation? Yearly vehicle paperwork? School fees?

At least we are all going to go through this regime together one way or another. I just pray for long life for you and I so we can see if the blessings to be counted by Nigerians at the end of the next 4 years will be as bountiful as we hope for it to be.

It is well cry

1. If you find anywhere in my old posts that I have for once supported Buhari both in 1st and 2nd tenure, call me out. This account is 2013 if I'm correct.

2. Taking off subsidy in bits is more expensive and ineffective than doing it at go. Buhari is a a very good example. See my previous replies

3. You should rather be more concerned about Tinubu's ministers because every of his policies, incentives, Palliatives will pass through the ministries.

4. You need to read through policy documents, check sources and take a good position of truth before coming after this man. The 8,000 palliative was Buhari's idea, he already borrowed the loan before Tinubu came on board. A world bank loan is one of the most monitored loans in the world, you can only use it for the purpose it is collected for. That being said I've never been in support of the scheme because I see it as a purported scam to enrich only APC members. Good thing that President Tinubu has called for its review. See here https://www.thecable.ng/tinubu-orders-review-of-n8000-palliative-for-vulnerable-households/amp

5. Please be advised that import license has nothing to do with Dangote's refinery. 10 marketers out of those issued import licenses declared capability to import fuel from July, only 3 have started importing and their vessels have started arriving Nigeria. Kindly see here https://punchng.com/nnpcl-monopoly-ends-as-marketers-fuel-vessel-arrives/
If you believe Dangote's refinery will never produce any fuel, it's left to your analysis and belief. If Dangote doesn't refine, Bua will refine next year, if Bua doesn't either Kaduna or Warri will refine and more marketers will import fuel.

6. Finally if supporting Tinubu means having roasted corn in my pocket, I'm really proud of carrying it about. Have a Nice day!

Edit: President Tinubu has declared state of emergency on food preservation and security such that he has ordered immediate release of seedlings, fertilizers and other incentives to farmers. The initiative is good as he's intended to force down the price of food products but the implementation method is wrong because he's attempting to make this policy pass through governors. Same thing Buhari did that these items ended up with Party loyalists instead of the real farmers. I expect President Tinubu to meet the farmers directly like he did during campaign so these incentives can pass through state and national leaders of farmers.

Once again have a nice day.
