Ashirioluwa:
If you want to use agent, make sure you use a reputable one.

Someone applied for visa through an agent. He gave all the documents including his bank statement to the agent.

He got a call today from bank, that the bank statement he submitted was a fake one. We believe that the agent edited the bank statement.

Arrest that agent for falsifying a document. That's if the applicant is not party to it.

For the Victoria Island center, yes. Ikeja and Abuja have no extra fee.

Alot of people always point accusing fingers at agent, forgeting that some of these applicants themselves have criminal intent. I remember last year when i was in the midst of someone who was traveling , and a conversation came up about one of his friends, then we got talking and asked him about his travel plans. Inbetween, he said something like he was preparing some legal and police report to withdraw his passport from Vfs.

This one, there was no agent. The applicant himself falsified documents and applied for a visa. This is just one out of many cases, but when anyone want to talk, they will say Agent, as if they were not part of it.

With due respect to the previous respondent, Ashiri , and others, I just tot it was necessary to rely this here, no intent to undermine or disrepute whatever post that was earlier sent.

Just to add, we know alot of people usually want the services of an agent because one major reason, which is bank statement or documents. When applicants cannot present or tender required documents for their visa applications, this is where we usually see instances where forgery becomes an option.

However, systems has changed and the embassies are even more smarter and equipped to handle these re occuring incidences.
what we should encourage people to always to do, is to take time to build their travel inventories such as financial status, documentations, gather requisite informations via their sub platforms about applications such as vfs and maybe nairaland. You can send mails if you need info.

This can go along way to reduce the cases, because when people talk about visa rejections or denials , especially for France , Germany and they add it to the decisions" Information regarding documents provided could not be verified" . Like a norm for most of them, it shows the level of distrust and disbelieve with whatever document you submit to these embassies, thereby making certain visas very difficult to attain, even when your intentions are genuine.

Lastly, the word agent is big. Because it cut across many professions, the perception that all agent are same is not correct. If you ever met a genuine and reliable travel consultant, you did find yourself very lucky.

There alot of honest "agent" out there.

Goodluck guys.

Thank you.

I'm unsure if that is possible. You can try. If it doesn't work, you might have to make another payment and request for a refund on the former.

No.
Let us just be objective with our judgement of issues.

Nothing else

The message was very clear.
Even on this Nairaland, if you have been following comments, have we not seen instances when some persons claimed to have forged or falsified informations to apply for visas?
I remember Tutu, myself and some other person was cautioning the person not to propagate such message here.

Let us do the right things whether agent or applicant. That is what we should be preaching and practising.

Goodnight.

1,500 - 2,000

If accomodation is free
Can I state it in my application that my sister will be paying for my accommodation with her credit card but I will be visiting uk alone and paying for flight, feeding n transportation myself so I can reduce the budget to 1500£ which is like 1.5m ?

If your sister is paying for accomodation, she might as well feed you.

You can state the other things you will pay for and 1,500 can do.

Good day everyone. I am currently in the UK on a student visa, I will be graduating in November and I want my mom and/or sister to come for my graduation. I have gone through the threads but I’m still confused as to how much is needed to be in my mom’s account (or my dad because he is planning to sponsor) and what is the duration for the bank statement required?.
Also, Can assets owned by my dad be used in her application?

Same here, I feel bad for her but we decided to tell her the truth than lie about the trip. Her mum has also taken it up to know what went wrong in the previous application.

A few questions you need to memorize when going for U.K Tier 5 charity volunteer work visa interview session in Nigeria

Firstly, if you did your application yourself, then you wouldn't have many issues, rather just take note of some key things.

This interview was in July 2023 at the TLS cONTACT, V.I, Lagos. Read through these questions and memorize your answers before the interview, be confident, and speak calmly.

Questions from WSP Interview
1. Name, DOB, Nationality
2. What do you do for a living
3. Where do you work, spell it
4. How much is your monthly income
5. Is that the only income you make monthly? No
6. How much do you make in the other Business
7. Who is your employer in the UK
8. What does the company do
9. When did you get your COS, (date)
10. Who interviewed you, (name)
11. What were the questions asked
12. What is your job role with them
13. How much is your salary
14. Who will be your boss
15. How did you find out about them
16. What is their website address
17. What is the office address
18. Have you worked as a volunteer?
19. With who
20. Did you find any other charity organization in the Uk
21. Why this charity organization
22. Do you have any family in the UK
23. What is their Name(s)
24. Are they British citizens
25. Where will you be staying
26. What's the distance from where you will be staying to the charity work
27. Do you have any family here in Nigeria
28. Which of your family has traveled to the UK
29. When did they travel
30. What is their name
31. How old are they
32. How many hours/ days will you be working
33. And what will you be doing after that
34. What will happen to your job in Nigeria
35. What are your future plans after the charity work
36. How have you been feeling throughout this interview
37. Who did this processing for you? Myself
38. Who paid your visa fee and IHS? Myself
39. If we check, was it your name on the card? No, over here in Nigeria, you can't just use any debit card for online payment, one would need to have a dollar/ pounds card. The process of obtaining that is rigorous and tedious hence, why I had to use a card owned by a colleague.
40. What is the name on the card, and who is he to you
41. How do you tend to manage yourself in the UK
42. Where will you be staying, the address, who lives there
43. Do you have anything else you'll like to add

The interview was about an hour, there were other questions I can't recall but, these are the major ones. So guys you can make use of it.
you can buzz me on WhatsApp if you need support or have questions regarding your application. 08072982272

Hello house, I need help. We had a visa refusal and were asked to apply for an administrative review. Here are the grounds for the refusal as shown on the screenshot. The truth remains that, the funds in the account were dissipated while waiting; a part were debited for Form A. while the others got debited after the expiration of the 30/31 days after the mandated 28 days had been fulfilled. Please, the way forward?
