Ireland really disturbed Australia and Canada. They are also very dangerous on the break apart from their usual physical demanding gameplay. This will be the first game we'll be allowed to actively dictate play and be in the ascendancy with posossion cause the irish might still wait to pick us on the counter. If we lose we might still go home if australia wins as it'll all come down to goal difference.

For real!
My preferred lineup for Monday would be

—Imuran——Ohale—-Demehin—-Plumptre—-

————————Ucheibe——————-

—————Echegini—-Payne—————-

——Oshoala——-Kanu——Ajibade———-

Alozie needs a rest before she cops another yellow and is suspended for the round of 16😁
Is Imuran not left footed?

Wahala dey o because Glory Ogbonna na expressway

We still need to keep it tight here. This people can't come and spoil what we have started oh.

I know they're out but it's still a match to play.

They need their first WC win, so they have something to play for.

Great point, I fear European teams the most, they are always so clinical no mater how small they are

Exactly what I'm scared of, them treating us to our own medicine.

Exactly.. Only if Nicole had been part of the squad, I would have put Alozie and Demehin on the bench

Lol
There ain't no way we're not qualifying.

Let's even assume we lose.
Canada win, Aussie remain on three points.
They draw, we almost certainly have a superior GD or goals scored to Australia because we're on +1 and they are on 0.
Aussie win, we will certainly have a better GD than Canada. Right now we're ahead on goals scored. We have the same GD of +1.

If we draw, no matter the result in the other game we are qualifying.

If we win we almost certainly top the group.

Oh, I get your point now.
I hope Ohale gets some rest probably in the second half if we're able to secure a clear victory against Ireland; not underratING them though.
PDPGuy:

For Ayinde, I’m just erring on the side of caution cos we don’t want to lose her for the knockout round.
As for Demehin, yes she was shaky in the first half, but gradually improved on her confidence in the second half

Ajibade and Ordega have been abysmal lately o. Especially if you judge by their recent games for Falcons. The ish is they are in big teams, but they can't show same in GWG. Always. Like always!!

BankyGee:

Were you really serious when you typed this bro? Even the Ajibade I've watched in the last two to three games she played for Nigeria can't be seriously compared to Caicedo. Not for now.

Jojodjo:
Is it the same Onumonu that brought some spark to our attack ?
Demehin that was shaky suddenly becomes prime Maldini to have prevented three goals indirectly .

You make emphasis on speed; what's pace without technicality?

No disrespect but I take it that you spew things that aren't valid or you probably have a different view from what's glaring as the truth.

If it's intentional, fine but if it's not you'd need to rethink your points.

Lastly, in recent time, it's an error to compare Ajibade to Caicedo.....

No. Since fifa are now using eight groups with four teams making them 32. Only the top 2 in every group qualify.

Bro if Ireland thrash us and Australia win narrowly nko? You can't rule out anything with mathematics but I believe we'll qualify. Let's just be cautious in the meantime.

I hope you can now see why PACE is very important cheesy cheesy grin cheesy grin

PACE won us this match.

Onumonu does not have the PACE that Oshoala has to score the 3rd goal..

PACE PACE PACE.. All our attackers must have PACE from now on...

let Onumonu play midfield

Lmao. I agree shaa but this win puts us in a great position. No need to go gung-ho VS Ireland. Play smart and sensible.

There's a reason we didn't take off Uchenna Kanu despite her spoiling plays.

Her, Ajibade, Payne all have pace.

Oshoala is the crowning glory. Don't think anyone else would've got to that ball.

Is not Possible at all, You seems to forget that Randy Waldrum gets better with the team in every friendly or tournament they play.. They get better from Game to Game. I'm very certain that they would beat Ireland..

Again, don't compare Ajibade to Caicedo.

Not always but mostly. 90 percent of the time na to bomb the ball.
I think there was just one good passage of play where they actually moved the ball and made good passes.
It's not a diss, just how things are.

Ohale played well. Was very composed.

We supported them from the get go and they delivered.
Congratulations!

I guess it was Kanu's pace that scored the first goal.
Or was it Ohale's superb pace that birthed the second goal??

Pace without technicality is but of little importance.
