That Oshoala goal and celebration was so epic that nollywood producers should turn it into a four part feature. inject it into my veins level!

I understood you clearly..

That is still a criticism and that's why I quoted your post because you're expecting her to be bad and perform terribly if she plays...

I never expected her to be bad! Man I know she's good that's why I had to make emphasis on the range of time I used in comparing her to Linda Caicedo.

Stop trying too hard, dey calm down boss ✌🏾

I guess it was Kanu's pace that scored the first goal.
Or was it Ohale's superb pace that birthed the second goal??

Pace without technicality is but of little importance.

Yes everything was pace... grin grin grin

You must criticise shaaa..

If they win you'll criticise. If they lose you'll criticise..

change your mentality... its too negative..

When you criticize someone then you already assume and expect the person to perform poorly so that means you already expected her to be bad....

I can't be calm... After all the criticisms and negativity..

without her, Super Falcons won't have won this match... grin grin grin

Did you guys notice when Game was 1-1, the Brisbane crowd were roaring & cheering the Maltidas, enters Asisat Oshoala! The whole stadium went quiet. Oshoala forced a corner...Nigeria scores; she then nets one herself. The Australian fans really knew what was coming.

There's a reason we didn't take off Uchenna Kanu despite her spoiling plays.

Her, Ajibade, Payne all have pace.

Oshoala is the crowning glory. Don't think anyone else would've got to that ball.

You're correct.

But they shouldn't take off their shirts when they score due to Yellow cards...

the referee and VAR did not review the kick on Ohale for a possible red card even a yellow card wasn't given..

if it was an African player that made that kick it would have reviewed and red card will be given.

If Nigeria gets to the QF or SF, Waldrum’s contract will be renewed & Okobi might have to kiss the national team invitation goodbye embarassed

The Nigerian Super Falcons are giving me Morocco vibes of Qatar 2022 shocked

"I haven't seen the statistics, but I assume we had a fair few shots. If some of those go in, maybe it's a different story, but they (Nigeria) were great on the counter, and they finished their chances." Australia captain, Steph Catley speaking after the game.

Ajibade was not decent in past matches, that's the fact. But she impressed this time and that's what we want to see.
Again, don't compare Ajibade to Caicedo.

Just leave that one make he dey cap. I have left him. I no get strength.

Lmao. I agree shaa but this win puts us in a great position. No need to go gung-ho VS Ireland. Play smart and sensible.
A draw sees us through. However, we shouldn't play for a draw. Take the win if it comes but by no means should we lose against Ireland. We really have to be careful against the Irish. They have nothing to lose and that should make them relaxed, play without any form of pressure. You can bet they would want to make a statement out of us. We just have to play the game like a final.

I think she should be eased off with or without Waldrum.

Okobi, Oshoala, Ebi, Orderga should all go.

Then Ohale should be slowly eased off while Oshoala should have just one world cup or just one African WC. Seriously, the new kids should be eased in or we suffer the same thing when the team had to be almost totally recreated in 2000

Then you don't know Onumonu. Haven't you seen her SF goals?

She, Opranozie, Kanu and Esther are good at one touch finishes.
Same Onumonu I've been watching every game she's been playing for GWG? Abi na another one? This is WWC and she cant presss! Simple. She sabi shoot but pace is not there.

Ogbonna? Like Glory Ogbonna? Comon Mr Randy, don't do us like that?

Smh.
Our defensive game plan after the 3-1 had one deficiency- Nnadozie long goalkicks was totally unneccessary. They won all of those aerial challenges and set us on backfoot almost seconds later. Playing passes with the defenders was way way better. We swift to 5 defending and they suddenly got a goal back. Mtchew. She didn't need to come off her line. But we Won. Big thriller!!!

Easy on the Ajibade and Randy praises for now abeg. Yeah she did well in this game. I expect more henceforth. It's not going to go away that easily until i see consistency. She was missed in 1st game anyway. But i guess that helped her and Ayinde mentally to give their best. It worked.

WOMAN OF THE MATCH.

OHALE OSINACHI

SHE GAVE INN HER ALL. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU LEGENDπŸ‡³πŸ‡¬β™₯οΈπŸ¦…

Later someone here will say she always balloon the ball forward
A wise And futuristic FA will start scouting for her understudy by now. Especially if its to just gumbody to her and learn stuff up and close. She has 1 WWC left in her before she bows out in fashionable and amazing style. Ohale is the biggest revelation of the decade to this team. No capping. Remove her and virtually lots of stuff crumbles no matter how talented the team is. Glad we have her.

Football is a game of chances. We were more clinical in front of goal.
Besides our 4 1 4 1 formation, that was the major difference.

Forget this one

Pace is everything in this WWC. 85% of the goals since 1st game are dependent on one or two pacy players. It is the most important factor in attacking in women's game. An attacking duo/trio needs it all through 90mins. Especially as the best teams in this tournament all have pacy players that press hard and fast.

Forget.
