Use your school address as your landing address o, don't complicate things. Also, she's your sis in law and not an immediate sibling or parent, you don't need to include her in your form. Win121: |

Sisib15:Nigerian agents I hail oh 😮😮😮 Did he think they won’t check the i-20 before issuing the visa nii? The lady was also aware, didn’t she check the i-20 to see it said there was funding when she knew there wasn’t? This isn’t good for visa hopefuls, another level of scrutiny unlocked 😢 |

Magma012:Hundreds of universities offer Master's in Computer Science, you just have to do your research on the one you prefer and start the process. You can use tools like ChatGPT etc to learn more about each of the schools on your mind. Here are 20 universities in the US that offer master's degree in Computer Science with low tuition fees: University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz) University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Texas A&M University (TAMU) University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) Michigan Technological University (MTU) Purdue University (Purdue) University of Central Florida (UCF) University of South Florida (USF) Florida State University (FSU) University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) University of Houston (UH) North Carolina State University (NCSU) Colorado State University (CSU) University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR) University of Memphis (U of M) University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) University of North Dakota (UND) University of Wyoming (UW) Please note that these are just a few examples, and there are many other universities in the US that offer affordable master's degrees in Computer Science. It is important to do your research and compare different programs before making a decision. Here are some factors to consider when choosing a university: Tuition fees: The cost of tuition will vary depending on the university and the program. Financial aid: Many universities offer financial aid to international students, so be sure to research what is available. Program quality: Make sure the program is accredited and has a good reputation. Location: Consider the location of the university and whether it is a good fit for you. Student life: Think about the kind of student life you are looking for and whether the university offers it. I hope this helps! |

Hello guys, I need someone to be brutally honest with me. I was given admission into two schools for MSC Accounting, now the issue is: Interview is in august the 17th. First school starts August 19th. School will not extend I-20 or give letter of extension to me. That is the same school I filled in my DS-160 form for visa interview. I also intend on going for the interview with my two kids both on F2. Also, second school starts August 28th. What are my options? Should I update my interview profile with the I-20 from the second school and go alone to the interview without my kids? because I can only update my profile with the new ds-160 number. It does not allow me to update my kids ds-160 forms in the online profile. OR differ my admission to spring to properly get an earlier date and prepare for school. I will appreciate any suggestions. Thank you. cc: justwise, MemoriesAndMe, sobastical, yinkhar, Amazon2190, |

Hello guys, Well done everyone and keep up the good job. I want to make an enquiry on my F1 visa, i got a visa interview date of 28th Sept which is after school resumption of 29th Aug. I then applied for an emergency appointment after attaching my I-20 but was refused. Please can i get advise on how to move forward as i am skeptical about waiting till September. My application is for Lagos Embassy. I would sincerely appreciate the help. |

masquellett:If you really wanna go with your kids I'd advice you to defer BUT you can just fill new DS-160 and update your profile. But the time frame is very close. I will advice a deferment and then go for the interview by October or November |

topsykoko:Get an extention letter from the school and check if the school allow online schooling as your interview is so late for a month after resumption. Just ask your school to give you a letter of extension and prepare to defend that at the embassy |
| Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by sobastical: 5:57pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
If you're interview date is is way after resumption, please ask for extension letter BUT it's most ideally when if it's just 2 weeks interval |

sobastical:Nice points! I don't really know much about the US student visas and how long the process takes for an interview date to be assigned to someone, but I know some intending to get visitor's visas have their dates pushed all the way out 2 years from now... Not sure why thats the case. @OP, I'd think you may want to reconsider your decision to go to the embassy with both of your kids for F-2 visas as that may reduce your chances. Reason is that you, the parent have a plan to come over on an F-1 visa ( for full-time students), and you want 2 of your kids to come with an F-2 visa (for dependants). So, if you intend being a full-time student ( which will definitely change over time), who will take care of your dependants? The US embassies don't want visitors and students to become "public charge" in the country and that means they easily deny people that will end up relying on the system or begging everyone to survive. It doesn't apply to you if you have enough funds for you and your dependants, a thriving business in Nigeria that's capable of sustaining you and your family in the US while u're studying or you have a sponsor willing to handle the expenses on your behalf and those of your kids. Otherwise, they may just assume u're just trying to japa with your family and never return. I think that's why many people get denied at US embassies - if u have businesses, landed properties etc and can prove it to them, they will easily allow you and members of ur family. What many people do is first take care of themselves, get themselves together, and then bring their families. Not the Oliver Twist route. Just my 2-cents. All the best! |

reigningme:Same here as well. Abuja embassy. I don’t know why the reschedule tab isn’t available. I’ve only rescheduled once and it has always been there until about 3 days ago. Maybe no one knows why |

The policy has just changed. Each person is now only allowed 1 reschedule after the initial selection. To get the chance for closer dates, you can pay another visa fee. Mawedamz: |

hello guys, I got my visa approved around June and will be leaving for the united states around mid-August. I have a medical problem, I am an hypertension patient and have been placed on hypertension-controlled medications. the medication is a lot and I am planning on taking medication that will last me for three months. The fear I have is the scrutiny and the questions I will face at the point of entry and how to answer questions bothering the medication at the point of entry. Moreover, I will like to know if anyone has been in this situation before and how best were able to maneuver this situation at the point of entry and at the united states since I need to see a physician in the united states and I was told insurance is not cheap. |

Nobody will ask you about your medicine at the POE. Take enough that will last you. Keep some in your carry on and others in your check _in bag Muyideenwriter: |
