I have been following this thread for a while now and have learnt a lot thanks to you guys who keep answering questions and giving your bright ideas.

Pls I have a serious concern.
My sister Inlaw is in USA on F1 visa last year meant to finish this year and my sponsor is her husband whom is my brother, also I put her US address as my landing address when I enter USA. Now I have two concerns:

1). Since her husband is my Sponsor, should I declare that I have a relation in USA on my DS 160 form or not??

2). Will my sponsor or the address info link me to her and show the VO that I actually have a relation in the USA if I say no(cos that’s what I really want to do)??

Use your school address as your landing address o, don't complicate things.
Also, she's your sis in law and not an immediate sibling or parent, you don't need to include her in your form.

I take God beg Una pls be careful o A friend of mine in the US just called that her friend (not someone I know personally) went for her interview today, she was self sponsored but the agent had edited her i-20 to show that she was funded by the school. She was granted the visa but it seems the VO checked the i-20 on his system after she left and realized there were two different things. They called her back using a public address system and the VO asked for her funding letter which she could not provide, he then collected her white paper, returned her passport /gave her 221g administrative processing letter and told her to send them the funding letter via the consulate email, ofcourse they will confirm from the school. I don’t think I need to tell you that this ll probably end in a visa ban. Agent is telling her to write email to school now to beg them for funding, even if it’s 5k.. see how crazy that sounds? He don commot hand. This will put the school, Nigerians in general, and even funded students on

He doesn’t have to cancel his present date. Just change your ds-160 number on cgi and send them an email to change your sevis number.

Please any recommendation for schools offering computer science for masters? and have a structured way of paying their tuition fee probably during an internship.

I want to switch course to computer science, already found a school (Maharishi international university) but will like to know if there are other schools that offers the same package like Maharishi university do.

I was given admission into two schools for MSC Accounting, now the issue is:

Interview is in august the 17th. First school starts August 19th. School will not extend I-20 or give letter of extension to me. That is the same school I filled in my DS-160 form for visa interview. I also intend on going for the interview with my two kids both on F2.
Also, second school starts August 28th. What are my options?
Should I update my interview profile with the I-20 from the second school and go alone to the interview without my kids? because I can only update my profile with the new ds-160 number. It does not allow me to update my kids ds-160 forms in the online profile.
OR differ my admission to spring to properly get an earlier date and prepare for school.

I will appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

I want to make an enquiry on my F1 visa, i got a visa interview date of 28th Sept which is after school resumption of 29th Aug. I then applied for an emergency appointment after attaching my I-20 but was refused. Please can i get advise on how to move forward as i am skeptical about waiting till September. My application is for Lagos Embassy.

If you really wanna go with your kids I'd advice you to defer BUT you can just fill new DS-160 and update your profile. But the time frame is very close. I will advice a deferment and then go for the interview by October or November

Same here as well. Abuja embassy. I don’t know why the reschedule tab isn’t available. I’ve only rescheduled once and it has always been there until about 3 days ago. Maybe no one knows why

hello guys, I got my visa approved around June and will be leaving for the united states around mid-August. I have a medical problem, I am an hypertension patient and have been placed on hypertension-controlled medications. the medication is a lot and I am planning on taking medication that will last me for three months. The fear I have is the scrutiny and the questions I will face at the point of entry and how to answer questions bothering the medication at the point of entry.
