We're allowed to have reservations about our politicians, yes. But it shouldn't be a yardstick for us to ignore the sanctity of facts and reason. At least we can all agree that David Umahi did well as a governor in Ebonyi state. Best we can hope is for him to keep up the efficiency at the federal level.

I am not an indigene of Ebonyi State but I have had course to spend some decent time in the state and gotten first hand experience and knowledge of the positive extent of his governance. Umahi employed people in the civil service, he gave his people access to basic amenities as well as infrastructural developments and equally impacted in their educational growth.

That he's a member of the APC by association does not mean we have to collectively demonise his person and flush his achievements down the drain. Let's be objective please.

Dave Umahi said he doesn't know the ministry he would head. The law that compelled the president to appoint ministers within 60 days should be amended to compel him to include their ministeries too.

How can the senate even interview people who they don't know the offices they intend to hold? That doesn't make sense.

If I was Dave Umahi, I wouldn't ditch the psenate for a ministerial slot though.

Ministerial position will help him achieve more of his ambition than senatorial.

First popularity and challenge goes with the ministerial office, but some senator are not given a Bleep even in their constituency.
