Al Hilal bid 25m after agreeing terms with the player.

Apparently, PSG do not seem to be keen on keeping him.

From the look of things, them go sell if Al Hilal add like 15m join the money.

E go pain me if the guy moves at a cut price and we dey here with McFred angry
Did you also account for his salary. He is going to earn 25million per season at Saudi Arabia. That's why he is leaving Psg in the first place. Kdb that's Premier league highest player doesn't get that amount.

TheMaterialist:
Casemiro is tailored from the same cloth as
Sergio Ramos.

Both Players are experienced veterans in their
Positions,
On a good day both Players are able to give
World class performances that help their teams
to win matches.

For Example
Sergio Ramos scores in two champions league finals for Real Madrid

Casemiro Gets man of the match award in
Champions league final vs liverpool and
In the Supercup final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

But...

But these players consistently make Silly,
Reckless and Stupid Decisions that often cost their teams.

One of the reasons why Real Madrid were never
dominant in La liga was because Sergio Ramos
was always picking up silly Red Cards due to him
needlessly fouling opponents, which made him
get several matches of suspension, which meant
madrid were not consistent in the League.

Casemiro's Strings of red cards cost man united
the Epl title last season, and from the look of things it seems he hasn't learned his lessons.

So when you think of Casemiro think about players like Sergio Ramos and Edgar Davids,

1.Very Important to their Teams

2. Capable of giving world class performances.

3. Consistently get silly yellow or red cards
very often, which leads them to being sent off
or suspended, usually to the detriment of the teams they play for.

First team Rashford : Viking : Antony

Back up: Martial, Garnacho, Sancho, Amad, Pellistri.

No excuse whatsoever from that Frontline not to have 60goals combination between them.

@1st bolded. Logical but flawed. Casemiro did not cost us any title. We simply did not play well enough to deserve the title. Even Arsenal performed better.

@2nd bolded. Every good trait that makes a player stand out among his peers also has a bad side to it. We can’t take away one and keep the other.

For context, people hail Martinez as “the butcher” and yet get angered when he actually “butchers” opponents on the pitch. How exactly do they think he earned that nickname?

Fans love Greenwood for his excellent finishing abilities and ball control yet get angered for his “selfishness” on the ball. How exactly do they think he got so good at controlling the ball?

These traits are simply different sides of the same coin. It’s what made them who they are today.
I understand your point.

Oh ho. Shebi you guys were raining insults on Rangnick when he made that statement. We have bought 6 new starters in the 15 months since he made that statement, and we are still not sure if the problem has been solved. If you add Malacia, Mainoo, Garnacho, Amrabat that is the 10 players.

Meanwhile since Austria started topping their group we stopped hearing Rangnick alerts.

So let me ask is there anything Glazer should have done that he's not doing currently?

Cos when coach or players fail to deliver na Glazer una go still blame
The Glazers have had their phuck ups but in this window they have delivered for ETH. They still don't know how to negotiate good transfer fees but over the past 2 windows they have delivered almost every player that ETH wanted apart from FDJ. It is now left to ETH and the players to make it work. I am ready to be pleasantly surprised by Mason Mount but i am not optimistic.

Omo if Amrabat comes in, that will be about 9 first team players ETH have bought in about a year, not counting the two on loan last season. Now this is some revelation cheesy cheesy cheesy

Greenwood comes back as good as new. Maino promoted, counted as new too. LMAO all he needs to do now is to train the team to play as he wants them to

Truth is that the top management has always supported our coaches to the best of their capabilities....

Of course there would always be opportunities for improvement but heck - there is no perfect system anywhere.

ETH has his work cut out for him this season - the margins for excuses are getting smaller by the minute and he just has to prove his mettle and show that his appointment was not a mistake.

Man UTD.com:
Erik ten Hag believes Manchester United laid the foundations of the way he wants to play at the club last season, as he begins to look ahead to 2023/24.

Ahead of Monday's clash with Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas, Ten Hag conducted a press conference with local media, fielding questions about the fixture, his team, and the future.

During the media briefing, Erik was asked whether he felt he was in a better place to implement his ideals than the same time last year, now he has brought Andre Onana and Mason Mount to the club.

"I think the difference is, with reference to last year, now we have the foundation with this squad," he responded.

"Because we built the foundation last season. So [we built] the squad, the way of play, and now we have to find the right players to fit in and to raise the bar.

"We succeeded with Andre Onana, we succeeded with Mason Mount and now we are looking for a striker."

Later in his press conference, Erik expressed his desire for every member of his United squad to contribute to the Reds' ambitions of success in 2023/24, whether they be in the starting XI or on the bench.

The Dutchman's blueprint for United is becoming clearer with every passing week and match, with every new recruit buying into the shared ideology within the Reds squad.https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/erik-ten-hag-says-man-utd-laid-the-foundations-for-success-last-season.

Is this a joke or is “to the best of their abilities” a new euphemism for incompetency?

Cos I don’t see how a lone summer transfer of Marouane Fellaini can be deemed supportive for Nwoyes.

If they were that supportive, why did Mourinho give them a public headbutt because they didn’t get him Magwaya?

I still remember the time people here accused Ole of having no transfer list, (or having Sancho only on his list) because these guys chased him for the whole window “to the best of their abilities” and even failed to get him in the end.

This is the first time in many years that we’ll be getting new players BEFORE the season starts.

If we get Amrabat, this will have been a very good window- just like the last one has been, but much better. The onus will then be on EtH to deliver (because I still don’t get the Mount transfer.

Yes, it’s commendable. But it’s too early to get carried away. It doesn’t mean that we’ve been having sensible TWs the past decade. Neither does it mean that the “top management have always supported our coaches to the best of their abilities”.

We have had this argument a couple of times. Many will still swear that the club does not buy players but our problem hasn't really been buying of players but getting the right players and keeping them hungry for success

So, a summer transfer of Marouane Fellaini alone for a new manager means supportive in your own books?

still need quality depth. a good first eleven can only get you so far, especially at the business end of the season.

as it stands, we have Maguire as back up to Varane. Maguire may yet leave. Sancho is looking like the back up CF for next season. Martial will be unavailable as usual. a Greenwood return will shore up the CF and RW quality but we are yet to get a concrete evidence on that. we also hope there's improvement in quality for Shaw's back up options.

This is a good start. If the first team are able to do that job properly and the team play as a team with all seriousness, we can comfortably make 3+ changes every match game with those we have on the bench.

We will have Sancho, Garnacho, Maguire, Lindelof, Maino, Dalot, Eriksen, Fred, Tom, Malacia, Amad, Pellistri etc. I believe we can manage quite very okay this season. But we really need to start selling

Why did Pep sign Haaland and Graelish for 100m after winning the league? Why didn’t he use his old team to achieve the same thing?

Or is Fellaini of the same quality as Haaland or Graelish?

Mind you, Pep didn’t just join City when he made these signings.

Cos I don’t see how a lone summer transfer of Marouane Fellaini can be deemed supportive for Nwoyes.
At the start of his tenure, Moyes was practically interested in Fellaini and Baines only - he got the Belgian and Mata (during the January TW) for a combined fee of about 60m - a lot of money as at 2013 before he got booted out after 10months...

The following players were signed during Mourinho's Regime...

1. Romeu Lukaku

2. Eric Bailey

3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

3. Henrik Mikytarian

4. Alexis Sanchez

5. Paul Pogba

6. Victor Lindelof

7. Diego Dalot

8. Fred

9. Nemanja Matic

Total cost of about 370m

2. Edison Cavani

3. Cristiano Ronaldo

4. Aaron Wan Bissaka

5. Jaydon Sancho

6. Dan James

7. Harry Maguire

8. Raphael Varane

9. Amad Diallo

Total cost is about 440m

Man UTD signings under LVG

1. Memphis Depay

2. Anthony Martial

3. Angel Di Maria

4. Marcos Rojo

5. Luke Shaw

6. Morgan Schnerderlin

7. Sergio Romero

8. Victor Valdez

9.Ander Herrera

10. Radamel Falcao

11. Matteo Darmian

12. Bastian Schweinsteiger

Total spend is about 290m

All these players were gotten with the full approval of the respective managers at the helm of affairs..

As stated earlier, there is no perfect system anywhere.

Even the Bayern Munichs, Citys, Real Madrids etc haven't always gotten the exact players they wanted at every point in time.

We can continue to blame the top management all we want but the records are there for all to see...

Pep didn't buy Haaland and Graelish same season. Pep's target was the champions league. Moyes didn't have that target.
