Collection may not take up to 3 months I think. My Son did biometrics on May 23rd and his new passport was delivered to us on July 15th.

@hustla
Nigerian matter, keeps degrading. As at last year, it used to take less than 1 week. Now people are looking months.

You can be an electrician on Tier-2 and get sponsored as a doctor and it would not reset.

The rule of thumb to get ILR within 5 years once you get a Tier-2 is:
- Once a Main Applicant, always a Main Applicant.
- Once a Dependant, always a Depandant.
Alright.

@hustla
Delivered to your house? Thought they ask you to come and collect it at their office like in Nigeria

Interesting

Do they provide a tracking number?

Well, influx of people into the UK may be a reason...

Also, it seems London is the only place you can get it done .. hence the palava wink

Does anyone know how to get into NHS trusts? Mental health to be precise smiley

Also who is into construction here?
I am looking at getting a CSCS card when I am done with school pending when a tech job comes along.

Heard jobs pay better than in healthcare there with soft work in some roles

Hello everyone, I want to ask if dependant need to apply if MA change job?
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Bourne007(m): 7:49pm On Jul 30, 2023
You don't have to apply at the same time. You can at any time before current visa expires.

Nope. There was a crowd end of 2021 as well as a huge backlog due to scarcity of booklets but they were able to do few days timeframe. So it's doable, there's no excuse, it's just Naija.

Goodmorning house.

I will like to know if GP does family planning and also if one is expected to pay for this service.

P.S: do not advice me to make do with c**d** cos it's painful during s*x plus myself and hubby not ready to have a baby now.

Thank you

All do, as far as I'm aware, although I stand to be corrected. Either way, if you call they'll either book you for an appointment or direct you appropriately.

It might be faster to try one of the walk-in centres though, if you have one in your city - they are usually much less congested in terms of time from booking to appointment, and again, most if not all offer family planning. Find the one closest to you here - https://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/other-services/Walk-in20centre/LocationSearch/663

Talk to your GP. It’s free the will book you in and ask you the one you like to do. Don’t listen to that woman that suggested withdrawal method. Na twins dey always follow that method comes. If you go land twins for UK grin grin

Google family planning centres near me or through NHS, I did mine free last year in a walk in centre.

They are called GP (General Practitioner) for a reason. Talk with your GP and they will refer you to the appropriate personnel.
