afrodoc2:Lol. Should've thrown in the towel earlier. The beating was too severe. He was knocked down on several occasions before the ref stepped in and said o to ge. I can't imagine the number of injuries he must've sustained. |

Practical in this context, means realistic. Baba I no get strength for English tutorials again this evening o Leyqute:You have been presented with the facts on ground - the board has been Uber supportive to all managers that have sat in that dugout. Take a step back, get a basic grasp of how things work and Stop blaming the Board unnecessarily!! |

Leyqute:You are the one hyperventilating. Moyes had title winning team. Zidane had title winning team. Moyes flopped. Just qualify us for UCL. His names were not available. Make them kidnap them? At least, qualify us for UCL make we see how things go be next seaso, Baba flopped. All coaches have always been backed. And it's fact. |

odizeey:Title winning team that has Valencia at RWF and a gaping hole in midfield ![]() Abi you want to tell me that Valencia was in contention for Ballon d’Or? By your logic, Leicester was also a title winning team in 2016. They only needed one addition (like Marouane Fellaini) to get top 4 in 2017. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 7:53pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
eph12:KPI or KAI, every manager wants to win the League. Moyes’ style is not even close to SAF’s style but you want him to bring instant success with that team. |

AdisaOwala:You like plenty unnecessary shalaye. And you keep jumping from post to corner. Formerly, you said Nwoyes didn’t have any targets apart from Baines and Fellaini. Now, you’re saying he didn’t have “practical targets”. Next time, maybe you’ll say he didn’t have “theoretical targets” Was Robinho a practical target when City (who was promoted 5 years prior and couldn’t even make top 4) got him? You go explain taya. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 8:33pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
afrodoc2:This season has to make sense. We need 1st or 2nd in the league, a very good UCL run and to win the FA cup. |

Leyqute:But I was clear in my previous submission I am responsible for what I post, and not what you understand. Leyqute:You are always citing the wrong examples. Wetin concern Robinho for this matter? Anyways, let me indulge you a bit... Robinho was to be offered to Man UTD + cash in exchange for CR7 - a move that didn't materialize at that time. His Transfer to England was a deadline transfer, and he didn't even know the club he was joining.... nitrogen:I would take 2nd in the league and a good run in the UCL and FA Cup (SF in both competitions). I can just about manage QF in UCL if we lose honourably to an exceptional team. The team must also improve in terms of the quality of the football. If not, ETH go just explain tire but no evidence say e try him best. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 9:39pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
AdisaOwala:You said Nwyoyes' transfer targets were not "practical" enough. Or that they were "unrealistic". It's bullsheet. That's why I bought up Robinho. You would never imagine him going to City. It wasn't as if he was offered to City. City were looking for more quality players, saw the opportunity, and swooped in. Was Robinho a realistic target for Mark Hughes? City got him. Was Sneidjer also realistic for SAF in 2012? Did we chase him all summer? Did Man Utd buy him? Your original premise that United's top management ALWAYS backed their coaches is a bold faced fallacy. It only exists in your own world. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 9:43pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
odizeey:You're already fighting your own logic. So, Man Utd and Madrid can be termed a title winning team after winning titles, but Leicester can't? Limao. Valencia that SAF was managing and eventually turned into a RB? LoooL. |

Leyqute:Another round of bollocks again - a clear backdrop of comprehension issues as usual. I clearly stated that Robinho was to be used as a pawn in Madrid's move for Ronaldo. It didn't materialize and they decided to cash in on him instead in the final minutes of the TW Should I type in Ibibio this time around? Leyqute:I have presented facts to back up my submission. All you have been able to come up with are weak, illogical assumptions driven by emotions and hypocrisy The board has always supported all our managers - deal with it! |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 10:13pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
AdisaOwala:Your "facts" are fallacious and illogical lol. You think net spend for each manager is the same thing as support. That's naive and shallow. A grown ass man shouldn't even be thinking like that. Like I said earlier, the only way to know is if we examine our transfers for each transfer window. Anything apart from that is boolsheet. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by TheLequte: 10:15pm On Jul 30, 2023 |

Leyqute:More bunkum from the half educated dropout from the infamous Feyingbole high school as usual What other support is greater than financial backing and a freehand in this regard? The problem here is that you have conveniently combined stark ignorance with comprehension issues .. This your intellectual disability get as e be... Leyqute:I have presented the facts - the board has been supporting and they have proven it once again.. Whining like a prepubescent girl wouldn't change the above fact. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by TheLequte: 10:38pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
Man Utd hired Mourinho in 2016. In his first transfer window (16/17), we signed these players: Pogba (105m Euros) MKhitaryan (42m Euros) Eric Bailly (38m Euros) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Free) Major outgoings were Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay. This transfer window was okay . You could say Mourinho was backed. That season, we finished 6th. Won Europa, Community Shield and Carabao cup, I think. We seriously needed to reinforce midfield (to "unlock" Pogba) and sttengthen our defence. We also needed a striker because Zlatan was old and he had a serious injury that we didn't think he would return 100% from. The next transfer window (17/18), IN: Romelu Lukakau (84m Euro) Matic (44m) Lindelof (35m) Sanchez (34m) Again, you could say the manager was backed. Season results: 2nd. No trophies. We gave City a weak chase until maybe January. There was a huge gap between us and City in the end. Plus Mourinho was already getting dissatisfied with some of his players. We just needed to up our squad so that we can meet up with City. Season 18/19 INs: Fred (59m Euros) Diogo Dalot (22m) Lee Grant (1m) Where is the backing here? Result: We finished 6th or something. Mourinho raved and cried during preseason about not getting players and he was sacked 3 months or so into the season. AdisaOwala, this is what I expected you to do for each manager, not the wuru wuru to the answer you did earlier. Don't just add the transfer figures of all the players a manager signed and present it as analysis. That's a very shallow take. If that rubbish is accepted at your Fehingbole High School, it is not accepted here.

Think about this: Rasmus Hojlund is actually the first promising out and out striker we've actually invested in and signed for the long term since we bought Lukaku in 2017 (8 years ago). The strikers we've been getting since then have been stop gaps: Zlatan, Cavani, WeGhost, Ighalo, etc. Seriously praying Hojlund will come good. |

TheLequte:Sergio IGNORAMUS, This your reasoning is actually synonymous with Órídótá community grammar school dropouts. ![]() From what you posted up there, can anybody in his right senses say that Mourihno wasn't backed? Pray tell - in which universe does the manager get all his wants at all times with immediate effect? He added Fred and Dalot (his requests) to his expensive squad that finished 2nd in the previous season yet you are still here embarrassing yourself. Again, I am begining to suspect that your matter is a spiritual one - no be normal eye. I would continue to pummel sense into that ya coconut head seh
