A straight red is now a 2-match at the WC. That’s harsh!
Shiiiiiiiiiitt

We really need Halimatu Ayinde like mad right now, Cause Echegini is an attacking minded midfielder and doing those defensive duties won’t be really easy for her..

Hopefully Randy Waldrum have will work his way out…

Seemed Ayinde took a hard knock in the last game. Demehin had to carry her on her back to the dressing room. Really hoped Abiodun will be available.

We also need to be careful with players already on yellow cards. Oshoala, Demehin and Alozie need to ensure they don't pick up a second yellow that will see them miss the next game.

Plenty Headache for Randy, hope he makes the best decision

Officiating in this World Cup have been so poor….
Imagine against the Colombians they awarded 6minutes extra time which wasn’t bad, but had to play till over 14minutes as extra time..

I wonder if anyone died on the Field.

If ayinde and Abiodun can't play, Nicole Payne could do that job. Unfortunately, she is needed in attacking areas but if we are left with no choice, I think she could fill the void.

I watch that match , a Colombia players was badly injured in die minutes so bad the medic had to stretch her off the referee didn't add any extra minutes, I don't know why you are all moaning about referees

The rules say it is one match unless the disciplinary people add extra so I guess they added the extra

Got it. TBF, her tackle on the Canadian player is one that could have ruled out that player for a year or more

So could have the vicious shin stump by Evelyn Viens on Ohale which had multiple compound fracture written all over it and was a no call (it seems all the people in the VAR room were on a bathroom break when the incident happened).
The Canadian got up and completed the match as if nothing happened. Clearly, there was no ill-intent from Abiodun, unlike the Canadians stump which was intentional.
