Thank you, we needed are much easier team than facing group winners. Omo na to root for china o at least we have a good record against asians
Don't get your hopes up. England might still find a way to sneak another 1-0 win.

Oshoala seems better coming off the bench. I don't know why.

That hasn't been the general sentiments o, even here on nairaland. Just search "Onumonu" and you'll see many persons saying she should sit on the bench.

Put respect on Plumptre name. 3games and not one bad or average shift. Saving Demehin twice today.

We have some players that are just too good but cant last 90mins with these 14mins added time upandan.

Toni Payne should be the WOTM sha.

No matter how we defend top teams find their holes in our defence and punish us for it. Canada and ireland are not as good as the level of competition we are about to face

She was exhausted totally. That's her technical ability. Ineffective when she's exhausted.

Both teams are ranked ahead of us. Canada is the reigning Olympic champion. We beat the hosts in their backyard.

We have a lot to do, but omo, some optimism, please?

Onomonu trending on Twitter. Guess what for?

Nigerians are saying she should have started ahead if Oshoala, even those who didn't fancy her before.

Sometimes we just have to accept we don't know better than the coach. All those who keep advocating for her absence can now see how important she is to the overall play of the team. Glad she sat out today to make that apparent.
💯, honestly what we do as fans is just “reacting”, I’m sure if Demehin had caused a goal, we’d have ruled her out and thought she isn’t capable. That’s why Randy Waldrum has earned my respect, he’s really playing the best possible team he can, while we stick to supporting as fans should.

Wallahi tallai Uchenna Kanu is not part of our best team 😭😭😭😭

Gift Monday should start ọ while Jesus Baby starts on the left wing.

Unless we intend to play for penalties from minute 1.

Nigeria v England
Counter attack is our only play
Oparanozie hasn’t played
R. Imuran undecided

Please what do we do about Uchenna Kanu? Why does Gift Monday not start games?

Aside Toni Payne and Michelle Alozie she looks like the only other player with a bit of tech.

It's how waldrum set the team up, i don't blame him sha cos falcons have a history of swallowing goals. Uche is wayyy faster than gift since he's playing counter football. The problem now is this same uche mediocre in every aspect of her game except pace🤷🏾‍♂️

Few bad calls here and there doesn't mean FIFA is biased the referees are only human

You've forgotten the 12th man on the pitch FIFA? That's the reason why some of us wanted the falcons to top the group.

Waldrum i woulf have like if you took the same kind of risk you did against aussies and try starting oparanozie and see how it unfolds. A bit of mystery in our attack might just make things click who knows

How because we arw defensively set up?😅 mannn i don't think if we go behind again we will recover.

Yeah like Morocco. Also we are better off not being under the pressure to win a second placed team.

I keep saying this her, her best performances usually comes from the bench, as a starter she tends to look lost and I wonder why.

Oshoala thrives when she has lots of space to run into and that usually happens when the defenders are already tired in the second half.

This works to her benefit because she can now use her pace and strength to overcome the tired defenders.

Congrats to the SF for making it to the second round. Nobody gave them a hope of making it out of the group not especially with all the controversy that followed the team in the build up to the tournament.

Keep backing and supporting the girls against whoever we face in the second round at the very least they deserve that much.

Kudos to Waldrum and the ladies again for another disciplined performance.

That game was filled with injuries though.

I predicted a 10 minute additional time. I wasn't far off.

I get your point, to me the rankings are absolutely shit. I'm talking about those games cos we failed to offer much offensively but defensively we were tight.

Anyways i still trust waldrum since the super falcons have decided to play each game like knock out football, maybe just maybe that conservation style might just see us through.

It wasn't just the added time.

The fouls on our players which she didn't call. The extra time on the added time. Calling 50-50s for Aussie and not calling them for us.

Not giving bookings to Aussie players for similar offences.

That ref was a bastard that day.

We should have won today with the same game plan we used against the aussies

I’m not watching their next game
They disappointed today

The England game would be tense
Tougher than the three games we’ve played.
The European champions know how to keep the ball and play around really well

Honestly! Let the poor girl serve out her ban not treat her like she deliberately wanted to injure somebody. Two matches is more than fair enough.

FIFA should also spare us it was 'dangerous play' bs cos if they 'cared' that much they should have also found a way to sanction the Australian defender who kung-fu kicked Ohale.
