You don’t need to include the newborns in your visa application unless you’re planning to go to Naija with them.

Greetings everyone,

I'm a bit curious, does the NHS in England precisely gives work sponsorship to Admin related roles such as medical secretary band 4.

Are they anyone here or who knows someone who was given work sponsorship by the NHS for a 'non-clinical' role in England?

Hi guys,

Please i will like to know how sponsorship works.

When a company sponsors a person from T4 to T2, is the application also put in for the dependant? or the dependant (in this case, just the spouse) applies separately after MA is sponsored and pays the associated costs (visa and IHS).

Thanks.

Separate. Unless otherwise agreed (I'm assuming not, since you're asking this question), dependents are none of the sponsor's business.

I called ecctis now and they told me that it is a rumor that home office is discontinuing ecctis service. Fingers crossed.

Hmmm... another topic that needs to be visited. I will try and prepare a detailed explanation later, please remind me.

If she's a pensioner, why are you depositing money in her account I have applied for pensioners with little money in their account. Equivalent of like £150. As long as they have a sponsor and their regular pension inflow shows, it should be fine. Dumping unexplainable money in her account is one of the quick ways to get her visa denied.
Bless you sir.

I appreciate. I will mention you in few days time as reminder.

Goodmorning house.

I will like to know if GP does family planning and also if one is expected to pay for this service.

P.S: do not advice me to make do with c**d** cos it's painful during s*x plus myself and hubby not ready to have a baby now.

Thank you

GP appointments and all forms of prescribed contraception are free on the NHS. If the GPs are not able to see you face to face, a telephone appointment is offered and a prescription sent electronically to any pharmacy of your choice to pick up for free.

Either. Some sponsors will pay, others won't. Just drpends on the agreement and the type of job.

Just. Give. It. Time.

Stop all Credit applications and keep doing every other thing right. The more you apply, the more your scores takes a hit as you will seem desperate to the system.

Have you taken the following steps to be visible in the UK financial world cheesy

1. Register to be on the electoral roll?
2. Set up direct debits to pay your utilities monthly?

You need to do these at the barest minimum before applying for CC.

Hi guys,

A friend of mine applied for a trainee Job in an engineering company. He was invited for a physical interview at the company's office. After the interview, he said the interviewers sounded very impressed and told him that his previous experience makes him over qualified for the trainee position and they would like to fit him into a qualified role with an improved pay. He was asked to come for a 4hrs trial work session to familiarise himself with the work environment and so they can better access his understanding of the job. After the trial session, the director once again reiterated the fact that my friend is very knowledgeable and would consult with the senior staff that accessed him to know the final step. However, he was asked to provide a reference from previous employer.

After providing reference, he recieved a mail from the company requesting additional 4hours trial work session and my friend feels a bit frustrated about the back and forth.

Please any advise for him?
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by bigtt76(f): 2:37pm On Jul 31, 2023
He should request the trial sessions to be treated as a contract and get duly paid for it. He can't be using his hard earned money to transport and work for free. If they know he's knowledgeable, there should be no need for trials.

All do, as far as I'm aware, although I stand to be corrected. Either way, if you call they'll either book you for an appointment or direct you appropriately.

It might be faster to try one of the walk-in centres though, if you have one in your city - they are usually much less congested in terms of time from booking to appointment, and again, most if not all offer family planning. Find the one closest to you here - https://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/other-services/Walk-in20centre/LocationSearch/663

I would go for England because of other opportunities that will present itself outside work. You won’t get those opportunities in Wales.

I really don’t understand who started this gist about low cost of living in wales.
I live in a tiny studio of 700 per month, I thought I was going to get it much cheaper because of stories I heard.
The house rent are almost same as some cities in England especially in North west of England.
I am only here for school tho.

These people are still years behind, trust me in terms of everything and diversity.
I lived in the chaotic Lagos for about 15 years so when I got to Swansea I just knew the city wasn’t for me.
Nice environment no doubt.

koonbey:

If you could earn the same salary working in Wales or England, say for a company with offices around the country and the same pay at specific levels, would you still prefer England?

My understanding is that the lower costs of living combined with how nice the environment is would make it a very attractive option. Would you agree?
