Deltamani:
Halimatu Ayinde.
The steel. She is called Elder by her teammates. she is tireless. She provided a good cover for midfield and defense. Her understanding with Christy Ucheibe have been superb too.

Ayinde cleaning up things in that Central Defensive Midfield position have been so Smooth and she's quite neat on the ball. Should start her own cleaning business at this rate.
She need to keep things simple at times. Just a quick pass to relieve the pressure. Not only her though,
.

Can we just try a 343 formation against England. I feel our team would be more balanced that defensively assured that way provided they're disciplined.

The most unsuitable Spokesman since their Galadima days. Guy thinks he's spokesman of some street club in downtown mushin. Mtcheww. My prediction has come true las las. The man will end up as a saint, not cos he's one, but cos NFF are that terrible to brush him as one with people like Ademola at the helm.

Without Christy Ucheibe?? Hmmm 🧐
Against England it’s going to be Physical too except things changes in their group and they ain’t our next Opponent..!

Thought an extra defender might cover that. Moreso, Tony and Ajibade are not bad defensively too. Ayinde just need to sit and allow the front 5 to roam. However, Onumonu can make way for Ucheibe with Ajibade and Oshoala up front.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 7:28pm On Jul 31, 2023
My issue with a 3-4-3 is that it will further leave the midfield exposed for the England/China’s midfield to run through, which would result in the defense coming under unnecessary pressure.

If we are to go three at the back, I would rather prefer the 3-5-2. Yrs, this formation sacrifices some of our attacking talent, but it would ensure that the team always has an adequate midfield presence.

The Super Falcons are now the FIRST African team to go unbeaten at the WWC group stage
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:27pm On Jul 31, 2023
For making it through to the round of 16, each SuperFalcons player will now get $60 000 ($1.38m total)
The Federation @thenffofficial will receive $1.87m

The total of $3.25m will be paid to the NFF who will pay the players their share..!

I guess you do not like the Falcons of Nigeria. You want the Falcons to play England without Ucheibe at the midfield.

Ayinde is a mature player version of Deborah..no b by running around..she knows aw to carry out her tackles timely and neatly
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mirinder: 10:12pm On Jul 31, 2023
Here is what i think.

Kanu as a super sub won't be bad idea. She's good as an impact player when you play her from the bench.

Alozie should be moved to wingback. She plays like reece james going forward. I want to believe she offer more offensively than defensively.

Asisat should be deployed as false 9. She's good at dropping deep to hold up play. This will create spaces for ajibade and co to run into.

Halimatu Ayinde have been a baller since her U17 days till date just that you probably used her small errors against her.. Anyway it’s good you’re changed now..

U17 she was playing more as an Attacking Midfielder..
U20 She played Centrally alongside Osarenoma Igbinovia who’s now married with a daughter..
Moving to the senior team she started as a Central Midfielder playing between Evelyn Nwabuoku and Okobi or Chikwelu and Okobi .. Before she settled in more as a Defensive Midfielder.

At Eskilstuana United she played DM and now at Rosengard her major role is the DM..!

Boss...what of Loveth Ayila? She is another good player who I had hoped to see in the green colours then. She just disappeared like that.

That Group D just lack goals. I don't expect anyone we meet to suddenly find their form after we kept 2 clean sheets.

Anyone else noticed Oshoala's heavy first-touches? Lol. I think Onumonu is preferable to her at the moment. Maybe it's the injury the coach talked about.

If she wants to come back she can do that as well, but I nor sure say that Babe go come back to Football as she got married around 2018 and played till mid 2021 when she got Pregnant then gave birth around February 2022

Portugal were so close. Denied by the Post.

Outplayed the US team by a mile, unfortunate they won't be progressing, but they have a solid team to build on.

Can't see this US team surviving Sweden.
