Just imagine if we could “dash” north west to chad and Niger to share, we would have solved half of all our problems

What the tourist said is true?
Do you see people pissing and shitting around you ?

Can't people enter nearby eatery to use the restroom ?

You can't be pressed, then stop by Mr. Biggs or Iya Buka to ease yourself ?
yup its true. many people here are degraded beings. next to animals.

Another international disgrace. These people will go round Lagos, then a little further to the slums of Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Ibadan and ogbomosho and conclude that's how the rest of Nigeria is.

If only they can go beyond to the cities in SS, SE and North they will have a much better impression.

It's really sad.

Partner, I agree with you 100%. Until I visited Calabar the last time I was in that country I never knew that city was that beautiful. Before all the Yoruba people start yapping. I am a Yoruba man. Got to admit Calabar has more to offer than Lagos. I have made it a point to start visiting more parts of that country every time I visited. Out of 50 states in the USA I think I have been to 45 of them.

Those children that begged and hold your hands are not Nigerians, they are from Niger republic, and are littered in all the cities in Nigeria.

everybody just needs to return to their states . It’s not enough infrastructure in tiny Lagos to cater to 20 million diarrhea addled negros who all feel like taking a shit after eating 5 wraps of Okele 😄😄

This just confirmed the European union council report on Lagos as the worst place to live on earth

Lagos is an over-hyped dirty slum
Lagos is a victim of its own success. Everyday the states welcome new migrants from troubled zones like North East or South East.
To solve this mass migration crisis, there have to be a collective effort to initiate a rapid infrastructural transformation in all the states of the federation.

I am a Nigerian/American, I based here in the US, I visits Nigeria two to three times a year. What the article describes is 100 % accurate in my opinion.
The only missing part is that, the person did not mention how most people smell sweaty. They Don’t use deodorants . I hope they teach that in Nigeria schools as part of a curriculum,It is that bad. Order for room service in hotels , the room smells will change as soon as the waiters enters your room. Some smell so bad, even air freshener can’t mask the smell. Bath three times a day, don’t not matter, if you don’t use deodorant , you are going to smell.

We didn't lose the sole ownership. The last election have exposed you people and soon our laws will be ready to protect the land regardless of which foreigner purchased the property. You can buy a land and build on it but the land still belongs to the indigenous people/government. Una never see anything. We will teach you people a lesson you will never forget

If the best city in Nigeria is described in that manner, he should thank his star that he never visited south east especially in sit-at-home days to see gully eroded roads and more dirtier towns and cities. He should ask PrinceofLagos why he ran back to Lagos from Anambra to hide from Ipob/esn
Actually East has more beautiful cities, towns and villages in this country. You are delusional and I'm sure you have not visited anywhere before, SW cities and villages are an eyesore, I've been everywhere

I've said this before and got eaten up for it.

Most of them don't understand deodorant or it's significance

Keeping yourself clean doesn't end with multiple showers a day. You need to use deodorant.

Poor response.

There are lots of Nigerians with uncomplimentary remarks about Lagos - and they don't live there. Which 'region' will you ask them to go back to?

Lagos is largely a mess. No two ways about it.

oh Sharon Africa is the future. I want to be here when it starts. I have family members actively involved in making it the future. Pioneers . And getting very rich in the process. I know people who left the Uk and moved to Nigeria and in less than five years became multi millionaires in pounds. So despite its shortcomings Nigeria still remains the place to make a huge impact. Nothing Dey west except comfortable living but it is subsistence and it comes at a huge price. I want to thrive and not just survive
