the average Muslim from the North stands with Nigel republic. To burst your bubble, many of them will volunteer to fight on the side of the Islamic republic of Nigel. Stop hating your fellow country people.

You think the person you quoted has any sense left? The constitution says the president can stay another 4 years in power if there is war. Tinubu is trying to use that to remain in power. Nigerians elected a terrible human being as leader. Let's see how Nigeria can fight Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and still fight Boko Haram and herdsmen.

Of what use is democracy to African countries. They have used it to impoverish the people. They and their families keep piling wealth for themselves in the name of false democracy. Go to Niger, you will cry for the people

Many Nigerians should know that Niger needs to be saved from Military dictatorship that has seized power from the minority tribe President who is not Hausa, Djerma or Fulani.

Imagine if a minority had won the Presidential election for the 1st time in Nigeria, then a military coup from the Majority tribes of Hausa or Yoruba then seize power to the joy of the majority tribes who support such return of power.

The whole world must save Niger from military dictatorship and any attempt to illegally thwart the regime of a minority tribe.

Hausa and Djerma should allow the minority Tuareg/Arab to breathe in Niger Republic.

President Bazoum must be allowed to complete his term in office.

A strong message need to be sent to the Barack boys that the days of seizing power with guns is over.

The buffoon in charge of Niger Junta claimed he wants to fight colonialism and corruption.

He didn't remember colonialism when he was sponsored to the same western countries.
He didn't remember corruption when enjoying government largesse for close to a decade.
He only became "people's champion" when he learnt the president is about to sack him.

If you are angry with this news, kindly move to Niger to join the resistance.
Well said.

We from the East will like to see this war happen Please tell tinubu to make it happen faster
.
.
We know also he want to use that war to stay in power because of section 135
.
But he will be put to shame
I think you are sad but just pretending.
Most of your Ipob members has been creating countless threads, begging, warning.
predicting doom and threatening that Nigeria should not be involved.

This is the most shameless display of "unity begging" I have ever seen.
The people that are supposed to be happy that their enemies is making mistakes
that will grant them "freedom" are the one trying to prevent the "mistake" by all means.
If my enemy is making a mistake, I will either be silent or encourage them.
In fact, I will say it is the best decision ever.

Do you guys really want to separate or you have been pretending all these while?

USA the advocates of democracy should be the ones imposing the sanctions other than Nigeria who has its own problem ranging from the hardship caused by fuel subsidy removal, lack of economic growth and rising poverty etc. Let Nigeria not dazzle into any external political war or expending budgets on war just because it sees itself or being pushed around by the west as the giant of Africa. We have our problems and Niger is not part of it. If their citizens don't want military rule or would rather prefer to continue being ruled by corrupt democrats then they can write to the USA or the United Nations stating this and wait for the response.

It is not true. The northern Hausa/Fulani elite led by Buhari were the ones who actually installed Bazoum into office using rich Nigerian northern businessmen. In return he has been awarding lucrative infrastructure contracts to our businessmen from Nigeria. I believe that it is even Buhari who pressured Tinubu to take this decision.
You are largely correct here but there is an already existing ECOWAS rule denouncing military coups in support of democracy in West Africa.

To make matters worse, Niger is right to the north of Nigeria as a neighbor.

A Nigerian-led West African military force moved into Sierra Leone and removed the military dictatorship in the 1990s while simultaneously restoring democracy to that country that has historical ties to Nigeria. It is the impressionable younger ones here who naively think what the Tinubu-led ECOWAS is trying to do is new.

Second, a Nigerian-led military force and Air force jet fighters were also sent to Gambia to remove Yahya Jammeh the sit-tight dictator from the position he held. I remember it was the now President Bola
Tinubu's private jet that was eventually used to diplomatically fly Jammeh out of Gambia. So, Tinubu himself is a top gun in this game. It is hoped that he can get the Russians, US, and the French on his side and that of ECOWAS to get those indisciplined Niger coup plotters out of the way (and let the Shuwa Arab guy finish his term in office even if Niger folks don't like the man who is from a minority ethnicity) because right from the early 1960s, the many military coups have NEVER done Africa any good but worsened the situation of things and spiked up corruption.

And the majority voted for the opposition in the reelection that is to come up in 3 yrs time?

Or the majority voted for the military leader who has seized power illegally?

If the majority don't want him again, the will wait for his term to be over and vote for another candidate.

That is the constitution of that democratic country.

S/o to the gallant people who are testing and keep modifying the ogbunigwe, last week test was from a part of rivers to a part of delta. More to be done, and should be done. And yes, it was done with local and friendly foreign help. The tensions around Africa is bubbling, and due to immaturity, stupidity might rise to a head.

No wonder many diaspora are starting to claim they are not Africans, but aboriginal.

Niger tribes are vying for who will be the most arab slave. Hausas will love that or already love that type of competition. Meanwhile, the northern slave, is just doing rubbish on many fronts.

Russia and china, are on their way to break Niger and Nigeria simultaneously.

I think this is the right move! Military dictatorship should not creep back into Africa. Irresponsible use of weapons by the military should be totally condemned.

While we disagree and fight to improve on the corrupt politics of Baalablu and Mr Yakubu, we must agree that military rule should have no place in Africa

If you don't want military rule to have a place then tell your politicians to work in the interest of their people. These politicians knoaw nothing more than rigging elections, siphoning the treasury of their countries to foreign bank accounts, signing agreements with the west to exploit their country resources by the west in exchange for protecting political power and increasing hardship on their own people. African politicians are wicked yet they want the people to support them.

Nobody wants military rule but the political elites are nothing but crooks. Go to Niger and you will weep when you see the level of poverty for a country that is 5th largest producer of uranium
