It's not about port, it's about the people, the culture and the character of the people.

You are hostile, dubious and very aggressive and want people to bring their investment to your region.

How can you be destroying Dangote tankers and except others to come there?

Improve your relationship with other Nigerians and see your region experience massive investment.

Oh I forgot you have no market, not your physical market but the people that could buy your products because of your massive emigration away from home

Nope they are mostly producers themselves. How do you sell your product when almost everyone runs same businesses they have to export their goods and services to others who are majorly consumers. Same mindset with the Chinese. grin
Go and learn how to hustle, don't hate

Smart Girl 😅!

I was born in Lagos despite that I jettisoned the admission for a university education in my state where I graduated and doing so well for myself.

The picture below is a drone picture of where my family house is located in Ibeku, Umuahia.
We came to Lagos to do business, it does not mean that we go back to trees when we say we are going to the village.
Show us other places apart from Umahia the capital of ABIA.

Apart from the capital ,other places in the SE are villiages.
Pronto!

Of course laziness can also be intellectual and about running businesses. Lazy people have to eat and will rather slave away at their civil service job for 30yrs

The end of Civil War politics is beyond your comprehension. Summary, Power - North; Economy - Southwest.

FG will approve and gazette development in the Eastern region on media but you will not see the papers which is a major requirement of a foreign partnership

Listen to former governor Udom's last-minute speech in the video below.

Remember Umuahia being a nice lovely city. More like a Gra. Well planed by the colonialist.
Not much activity then, like a civil servants paradise.

did I call Aba here, let's forget Aba.
Go to places like Ukwa east and west and see vehicles moving in gutter, pot holes that could fall tankers.

I will say it again, the only place with good road is Osisioma.
Then Ummuna bende has few roads that is not too bad but still can't be considered good

Vehicle moving in gutter in Alaigbo?!
haha?!

Don't stay in one place for too long,it retards your brain and stunts ur growth as well as ur prosperity.

That is why there are more poor people in ur villages than any where else in the south.

Don't take comfort in poverty.
Below is the evidence.

Give you port? Who gave Lagos the new Lekki deep port?

Only a failure blamed others for his woes
The new Lekki Deep Sea Port is 75% owned by the China Harbour Engineering Company and Tolaram group, with the balance shared between the Lagos state government and the Nigerian Ports Authority.

So why hasn't other ports been functioning optimally if it's a deliberate?

Can Lagos generate revenue if business don't move to lagos because of the ports?

Have you looked into the issues with the other ports?

Where is the ocean for the port in the east and who "gives" ports to people? The southeast is completely landlocked, so forget about that and educate yourself. Lagos is only enjoying the natural geographical benefits it has.

No where in the SE is remotely close to the atlantic ocean so forget about dredging cos that's virtually impossible as you cannot dredge the Ocean into a River and vice versa, unless you want the entire South east to sink under the ocean. Also, they'd have to dregdge the ocean through several SS states, causing a very harsh damage to the ecosystem and probably sinking parts of the region.

PS: I am not here to try to argue with you on tribal issues, just to educate you, that's all.

... hahaha...what is lekki deep sea port ? What revenue or business activities has it brought to lagos?

Apapa port is still the reason why more than 50% of igbo business men go to lagos...same way government created Apapa in lagos, that same government can create one in Port Harcourt or akwa ibom

southwest is not developed if you remove Lagos. This I can tell you for sure.
The moment you leave to Ogun state, the remainder are nonsense. You won't even tell the difference between Markurdi and Akure

Even in Lagos, the further away you move from the Island, the lesser the development. Places like Alagbado, Ikotun, ayobo, idimu, alakuko, ijaye, ojo, ijaniki that are close to Ogun state are total mess and would not compare to an average city in other parts of Nigeria.

How what basis would you say that Abeokuta is more developed than Jos, or Akure is more developed than owerri or Osogbo is more developed than kano? Nothing is in southwest outside of lagos

Ibadan nko?

Those are not South Eastern states... And who told you they don't have ports in Rivers and Akwa Ibom? A lot of commercial ships berth in those 2 states.

Most of you don't even know your region, you just come here to argue... what Igbos need to ask for is a functional rail system so that goods leaving Lagos and other ports can enter the south east seamlessly. Not all these "give us ports" noise, pls.
