The person that will benefit most from Boniface's performance today is Gift Orban!

What about the English? The English defence is one of the slowest and less physical. The Haitians were penetrating it like tomorrow no dey. We will penetrate and take our chances and shut them from scoring!

After Boniface disappointing performance in Leverkusen last match, I went to his page to give him some coaching advise. One could see that this will be the first time Boniface will be playing as a top 9 in 2 years. At USG he plays in a 4-4-2 system and more as the supporting striker which really affected his goal return.
In the previous games at Leverkusen he withdraws too deep to receive the ball and find it difficult catching up with Jerome on a counter attack. So, I told him to limit the way he withdraw to the midfield cos now he is the target man and need to stay on the shoulder of the last man more cos Leverkusen plays possession and fast counter football.

I am glad he made those changes even though, I only wrote it on his IG page! A player willing to learn. He won't spend 2 years in Leverkusen!

I remember giving Oshimen the same advise when Napoli fans were on him for missing too many chances few years ago. I copied his IG on a video of maradona advising Harry Kane on how to shoot from tight areas. I believe my constant copying of Oshimen's IG handles on videos of great strikers made him limit the comment on his page and made his IG handle unable to be copied. lol. Nevertheless, I m happy he listened and learned cos few weeks after he started scoring some unbelievable goals!

Leverkusen wants Lookman. Atlanta not willing to sell. Nevertheless, Emmanuel Dennis is on standby in case Lookman insists on leaving.

Osimhen, Orban, Boniface. I have been saying we will have to figure out a way to start these players in a system that works. They sure do know how to handle business upfront.

I saw their match against Chelsea, Ughelumba Chinedu Bassey is looking like a player that will do well in the EPL as a CB

one among few super eagles players I hv so much faith in currently

Bassey is a bag of raw potential yet to be tapped. Ajax will regret selling him off while Fulham will reap the dividends in 2-3 seasons time

When we told them, it was the Ajax team that is bad not Bassey, they did not believe. Now they believe!

The Afrobasket final will be tough. I never thought the Senegalese will make it to the final with their poor start. I thought the Malians were in the best form to win their first Afrobasket but the Senegalese shocked me. We have to close down Dillard just like the S. Falcons have to close down L. James if we are going to stand a chance. Nevertheless, our most potent weapon will be Amy and Tomi 3- point throws. A bad day from those two might be disastrous for us! I wish D Tigress best of luck!

Dillard is a damn good baller but I still think we carry the day. The Dtigress biggest asset in this competition has been their defence. Even when their attack was atrocious and then turned over the ball too many times, they still didn't concede too many points from turnovers.

Also, checking Dillards stats a large chunk of her points come from free throws. She's taken 45 free throws while Amy has taken 17. Won't be easy but we should carry the day.

From the highlights I've watched the ladies are exceptional 3-point shooters.

The Okonkwo chick (hope I got her name right) na real baller! Tournament MVP candidate

Not exceptional really. Apart from the last gamez our 3pts percentage were horrible. It's just that most teams in the tournament also had same horrible percentage.

Amy and Tomi are however good 3pts shooters. The rest of the team not quite.
