E be like say Baba TT dey talk before im reason. He should learn a lesson from this Niger episode.

Baba shouldn't have been so quick in threatening military action against them without first consulting the senate. See the embarrassment the Nigeriens brought upon our country calling our president Ebola. Next time, let actions speak louder than voice.

Does Tinubu look like someone who is interest in confronting Niger militarily?

He is the ECOWAS leader. The letter to the senate is just for him to make ECOWAS member states, Buhari, France and UK see that he made attempts.

Now, no super power will blame Nigeria or him for not protecting their interest.

Even a new born baby knows the senate will reject the prayer 7 of his request.

Underate Tinubu's Political sagacity at your own peril. Nigga is the real Maradona reason why we never wanted him in Aso-Rock. You can't set a trap for him.

Even the great PO knows him in and out, reason why he purposely left out election result and seeking out cancellation of his candidacy.

It's a time I told you all why President Tinubu is hell-bent in Niger.

He knows that if such continue, such might happen here in Nigeria, knowing very well that the people are tired of notorious administration and the diabolism that associates Nigeria electoral process.

I'm of the opinion that what happened in Niger cannot with utmost-almost certainty happen in Nigeria reason being,

If the Military did not take over during the height of Bokoharam insurgency that threaten the corporate existence of nigeria...what excuse will they give now?

Secondly the Nigeria Military echelon are well greased by the civilian authorities to warrant a coup.

Nigeria can't afford a war at this time or any time soon. What is the situation looking like back home in Nigeria? Are the citizens living well?

What IBB wasted in the days of ECOMOG should not be allowed to repeat itself again. Let us utilize whatever we have now for the benefit of the common man on the street who is hungry.

The federal government should use the money to fortify the borders to check the influx of unwanted elements into the country. We have our internal issues of UGM, BOKO HARAM and bandits/kidnappers to contend with. Don't add to all these for us again.

Sorry is Senate sitting on Saturdays too or which Senate are you talking about or it happened yesterday and you just remember to post ut here?

Anyway seriously war or confrontation is not what we need right now. Nigeriens can fight their battle with their new leader themselves all I'm happy about is subsidy is dead and Niger can no longer steal our oil again the rest issue they can go to hell I care not it is their headache.

Fair enough.
We cannot afford that now considering our current situation and the fact that Tinubu government is just starting.
God bless the Senate
God bless Nigeria

God bless you brother,as I had also postulated! NO TO NIGER WAR!
It is not condemning President Tinubu as the Oppositions( LP and PDP) wanted us to believe but a just realistic approach to International Politics in our neighborhood!
• Kudos to our Senators for their Eagle eyes Approach.
•Let the Junta face their troubles and we can even cut ties with them,if so desired, afterall, they have been causing Problems in the 5- States in the North,eg ( Sokoto, Zanfara,Kaduna,Katsina Borno) etc, through - Kidnappings,Drug Cartels, Cattle Rustling, Herdsmen/Terrorists - Carte of Gun- Running across all the porous Northern Border!
•We hope the Northerners know Now that these Countries - Niger,Mali,Chad, etc, are enemies, not Nigeria Friends,at all, they must see it that way as,many Northern Youths follow their paths and become Bokoharam,ISWAP Members.
•Patriotism and Charity Must begin at home- to defend Nigeria at all Cost,by flushing them out,if they failed to repent.
•Some Traditional Rulers along the Borders also encouraged these Criminals to hobnob with Nigerians, while some of these foreigners - were granted NIGERIA Status by these locals who eventually becomes terrorists to Nigerian States.
Terrible and Shameful indeed.
Time to act is now!

Even if he's reinstated, who will guard him and the presidential palace?
Isn't it the same group of uniform men?
Military are the backbone of democracy. If only they can stay off corruption or being corrupted by politicians, there would be massive development. Especially when a civilian ruler is aware of the possibility of being booted out by men in khakis, should he fail to fulfill his campaign promises and manifestos.
Bearing this in mind, it is safe to conclude that military are the real enabler of corruption and underdevelopment in any democracy.

I just knew akpabio would be another rubber stamp. Imagine sending an I'll equipped force into another country a they suffer humiliating defeat ilwithin the first fews weeks they would destroy Nigeria's already battered imagebinbthe world map.

Rather the senile president should focus more on curtailing the ESN,/IPOB in the south east the Fulani banditry in North central, Boko Haram menace in the core north, pockets of cultism, communal clash Les in the south south and south east. Then maybe we can have a peaceful Nigeria we all want.

This is a rubbish report. The senate is discussing the matter in closed session as I write and the proceedings are entirely private. Everything that the report said the FGN should do has already been done. Two delegations have already visited the country. Additional delegations have gone to Algeria and Libya.

The Nigerian army is by no means under powered. It was designed for formal war and it has everything it needs to rapidly destroy Niger's command and control systems. What is more likely to happen is that Niger will be choked into submission by way of an air and land blockade which I understand is already underway.

The American drone strike force is there. The Nigeriens can attempt taking out predators and reaper drones if they feel invincible.

In the end the coup leaders will dissappear to some pre arranged country as the heat intensifies. Nigeria will not permit Wagner on its front door.
